Pedal turn expansion testing in action. 🔄

During this flight, the team conducted pedal turns at increasing rotational speeds to evaluate the aircraft's precise, controlled turns. The sequence concluded with a Land Now command, initiating our rapid descent mode.

Last week, Wisk and SkyGrid completed a joint airspace simulation with the Federal Aviation Administration's William J. Hughes Technical Center for Advanced Aerospace. Remotely piloted operations in complex Houston airspace (Sugar Land and Hobby) were evaluated using an optimized route network designed to reduce ATC workload.

High-fidelity, ATC-in-the-loop simulations were used to refine our ConOps and Multi-Vehicle Supervisor tools. We connected Wisk's platform directly into the FAA's research labs, utilizing active NATCA controllers and real-world flight data under both VMC (Visual Meteorological Conditions) and IMC (Instrument Meteorological Conditions). We also tested off-nominal scenarios - including missed approaches and vertiport closures - with active controllers.

A huge thank you to the FAA Tech Center and SkyGrid teams for helping advance the future of safe, autonomous flight!

We're officially breaking ground on a new state-of-the-art vertiport at Hollister Municipal Airport! 🚁✨

This 100x100-foot test site is one of the first public airport vertiports in the U.S. designed to support both piloted and autonomous operations. Built alongside our existing flight test facilities, this modular platform will enable us to evaluate terminal area flight procedures, inform regulatory guidance, and validate precision landing technologies across real-world environments like missed approaches and GPS-denied conditions.

Every flight gives us more to learn.

With two Gen 6 aircraft actively flying, our team is continuing to expand the flight envelope, validate aircraft performance, and turn real-world flight data into the next round of testing.

From early hover flights to increasingly complex maneuvers and higher speeds, each milestone builds on the one before it as we continue expanding and validating aircraft capabilities.

"I get to work with every single team, I get to touch every subsystem and learn about every piece of the aircraft."

For Allison Nason, Principal Program Manager, program management goes beyond schedules and critical paths. It's about understanding every subsystem, connecting engineering disciplines, and clearing the path to our Gen 6 flight milestones.

When she isn't working, you'll find her coaching Little League baseball, hiking, or playing backyard whiffle ball with her family.

Blue skies, smooth air, and 20 seconds of pure aviation bliss.
Happy ! ✈️ ✨

Up in the air ☀️

In this test flight, we evaluated the aircraft's stability during a hover, a yaw chirp, and a roll chirp. More flight data in the books!

Over the last 16 years Wisk has set the benchmark for autonomous flight across the entire industry.

Today, we take the next big step forward.

The Boeing Company has announced an agreement for Archer to acquire Wisk, SkyGrid, and Insitu Inc. As part of this deal, Boeing will invest in Archer and establish an ongoing technology sharing collaboration.

Wisk will play a key role in accelerating Archer’s technology and portfolio of products across commercial and defense bringing the industry’s top autonomy team and a suite of highly complementary tech to Archer’s business. Together we’ll build the future of aviation.

We’re excited for the opportunity to join forces with Archer after the deal closes and build a groundbreaking end-to-end physical AI platform for aerospace and defense.

Happy National Intern Day to this talented crew! ✈️💛

During Take Flight Day, our interns visited our Hollister and Fremont facilities, saw both Generation 6 aircraft up close, and explored motors, propellers, battery modules, the Iron Bird, and more.

We’re grateful for the curiosity, energy, and fresh perspectives they bring to Wisk every day.

We’re building the autonomous aircraft, and SkyGrid is building the digital traffic management system to integrate it. Together, we’re laying the foundational framework required to modernize global airspace for autonomous flight.

🛫 Wisk: Developing the world's first self-flying, all-electric, four-seat passenger eVTOL designed to meet commercial certification standards.

🌐 SkyGrid: Providing the traffic management platform that integrates aeronautical and environmental data, offering operators a comprehensive view of the airspace.

Safe autonomous flight takes a smart aircraft and a smart airspace. We're delivering both.
