Are you prepared for Q3❓
You may be saying but we are not done with Q2 yet❗
This is true but this is a very important question that should be top of mind at this point.
One of the main questions that I ask on my 1:1’s is how is your sales pipeline looking❓
Here are some of the most common responses I hear.
I’m not sure I have not checked lately.
It’s not looking too good my sales leads are running low.
It looks OK.
It’s very rare that I hear these words ~ My pipeline looks Great❗
As a Sales Coach, I would say that Pipeline Management is one of the main determining factors in sales success.
Let me explain a little further.
We have all heard this saying before.
Sales is a numbers game. 📊
The saying has been around forever and it’s because it is 💯% the Truth.
As sales professionals, we will win some & lose some sales.
Unfortunately, the latter is more likely to happen in sales.
This is why having a healthy sales pipeline filled with qualified buyers is a must.
You must have enough opportunities in your pipeline to replace the lost sales.
The key to effective Pipeline Management is filling it with the Right Buyers.
The right buyers consist of “ICP” Ideal Customer Profiles and the right “Personas”.
These buyers can be found through research and by utilizing sales tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, and ZoomInfo to name a few.
Without using a system to determine the right buyers for your product, service, or solution you may be spinning your wheels & wasting your time on the wrong prospects.
Let’s circle back to the Importance of Effective Pipeline Management.
If your goal is to become a Top Sales Producer, the key 🗝 is to focus on Effective Pipeline Management.
By filling your sales funnel with the right buyers, it will assist you will reaching & exceeding your monthly & quarterly sales quotas now & in the future.
If your pipeline is overflowing with the right prospects, you will always have opportunities to close sales.
