Is Procrastination hindering your sales results❓



Are you continuously missing deadlines, or don't deliver on time❓



Let’s start off the post with the definition of Procrastination:



Procrastination is the action of delaying or postponing something.



We procrastinate when we know what to do but put off doing it until later.



During procrastination, it's usually the most important task that never gets done!



The main impact of procrastination is it often leads to missed opportunities. 📉



The mental effects are every time you procrastinate, your motivation and confidence level drops even more.



If this rings a bell 🛎 I feel your pain as I struggled with procrastination for years until I self-reflected and pivoted.



Let me explain a little further ~ I designed & implemented a 5 Step Sales Process to Battle Against Procrastination.



What I discovered in my self-reflection time is that with just a few minor changes to the way I approached tasks, I could change the end results.



Once I implemented the 5-Step Sales Process let me say it changed my ❗

How good is your Sales Process ❓

Are you losing more sales than winning❓

This is an important statistic that you should know.

If you are selling a product, service, or solution it is critical to have a great understanding of your win/lost percentages. 📊

Many sales professionals lack a scalable sales process which results in inconsistent sales results.

Without having a solid sales process most sales professionals just wing out.

When you just wing at this point you will be hoping to close a sale.

You will learn the hard way by trial & error and most likely lose more sales than win. 📉

If this rings a bell, I feel your pain as I was once in this exact situation.

I got to a point where I was burning myself out.

I had to self-reflect and I realized that winging it was just not cutting for me.

It was not until I decided to make a change and implement a scalable & repeatable sales process that my changed. 📈

This changed my sales world as I now had a solid 5 Step Sales Process to follow.

Just by pivoting and making this change my sales results immediately improved for the better.

Are you prepared for Q3❓

You may be saying but we are not done with Q2 yet❗

This is true but this is a very important question that should be top of mind at this point.

One of the main questions that I ask on my 1:1’s is how is your sales pipeline looking❓

Here are some of the most common responses I hear.

I’m not sure I have not checked lately.

It’s not looking too good my sales leads are running low.

It looks OK.

It’s very rare that I hear these words ~ My pipeline looks Great❗

As a Sales Coach, I would say that Pipeline Management is one of the main determining factors in sales success.

Let me explain a little further.

We have all heard this saying before.

Sales is a numbers game. 📊

The saying has been around forever and it’s because it is 💯% the Truth.

As sales professionals, we will win some & lose some sales.

Unfortunately, the latter is more likely to happen in sales.

This is why having a healthy sales pipeline filled with qualified buyers is a must.

You must have enough opportunities in your pipeline to replace the lost sales.

The key to effective Pipeline Management is filling it with the Right Buyers.

The right buyers consist of “ICP” Ideal Customer Profiles and the right “Personas”.

These buyers can be found through research and by utilizing sales tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, and ZoomInfo to name a few.

Without using a system to determine the right buyers for your product, service, or solution you may be spinning your wheels & wasting your time on the wrong prospects.

Let’s circle back to the Importance of Effective Pipeline Management.

If your goal is to become a Top Sales Producer, the key 🗝 is to focus on Effective Pipeline Management.

By filling your sales funnel with the right buyers, it will assist you will reaching & exceeding your monthly & quarterly sales quotas now & in the future.

If your pipeline is overflowing with the right prospects, you will always have opportunities to close sales.

Let’s circle back to the original question are you prepared for Q3❓
