What is the Enneagram? Why is it helpful to know your type?
The Enneagram Assessment identifies your core Enneagram type. It gives you a deep look into why you do what you do and think what you think. It shows you your default “motivation muscle.”
Understanding your mind is the first step to changing your mind. Unlike other personality profiles which often just box you in to a single type, the Enneagram opens up an entire world starting with your core type, plus 8 other “muscles” that you can explore and strengthen.
If you know your type or have done one of the free online assessments, you may not have seen your full report. The Integrative 9 assessment that I use provides a detailed document showing you your core type, sub-type, centers of expression and more. It also provides practical, actionable recommendations just for you.
Because this report is so comprehensive and detailed, I offer it with a feedback session (or sessions) so you come away with steps to implement what you learn.

Thoughts are fascinating AND it’s great to take a break from them sometimes. We can do this and still keep up the listening by focusing on our senses. A favorite Listening exercise of mine is to pick a sense – hearing, seeing, touch are the best for this exercise. Once you have your choice, start ‘listening’.

I like to do this while I’m walking when I want to give my mind a break. I’ll choose ‘touch’ for example. As I walk, I’ll become aware of that sense of touch – the clothes on my skin, the air on my skin, the feel of my hair on my face, how the ground feels beneath me, any other sensory stimuli I receive. I ‘listen’ from this place and notice all that I hear. As I do this, new levels appear and my other senses come alive. Sometimes new thoughts and ideas come to me here and sometimes, I simply relish in this deep sense of listening.....

Learning to TRULY listen to ourselves can take a bit of practice. With our busy, full lives and all the information and stimuli that is constantly coming in (especially right now), there is SO much noise – in the form of ‘shoulds’, of unwanted thoughts that don’t serve us, of other people’s voices & expectations, of uncertainty – that it might take a bit of attention and focus to tune in, Listen and hear what our own voice is saying and wanting.
One tool I love to use is a journal. If you look back at what you have written regularly, you will start to see patterns. By observing these patterns, it's easier to see what is serving you and what you might like to let go of.

It's . This week we are featuring- LISTEN
Listening to others compassionately as well as deeply listening to yourself is being invited right now. Sometimes we want to skip over what we are feeling or needing to get past it. Instead, I invite you to listen. Simply take a breath and ask, "What would most nurture me right now?" Listen to the answer and honor what you hear in any way you can, perhaps by simply acknowledging.

Yesterday, I heard and saw a lot of goodness. Clients and those around me shared stories of people being kind in so many ways. It was a reminder for me to tune into all the beauty and goodness, thereby letting even more of this in.
I like to think of this as using Focus as a tool.

I hope you are all doing well in the midst of these uncertain times and have had a chance to breathe and to shift your focus when necessary.
Many of you may be struggling with the transition of having to work from home and are having a difficult time pouring your energy into focusing on your daily job tasks.
I would like to invite you to take the time to write down what you would like to focus on at the beginning of every work day.
When writing down what you would like your day to look like and what you would like to focus on, try to be specific. Setting time frames for you to complete the tasks and scheduling breaks may also help keep you accountable for finishing a task and help you avoid distractions.
And remember, be realistic about what can get done and be gentle with yourself as you adjust to new routines.
