🚁 IF YOU FLY, WE CAN’T.

Flying a drone near an active wildfire puts firefighters, pilots, and our communities at risk.

When an unauthorized drone enters the area, helicopters and other firefighting aircraft may have to stop flying. That costs valuable time when every minute matters.

Our Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office and Fire Department are asking for your help: Keep drones away from wildfires and let our crews do their jobs safely.

Flying a drone near an active wildfire may also result in serious federal penalties.

Protect our crews. Protect our communities. If you fly, we can’t.
