Professional Support Services for Nonprofit Fund Development and Organizational Health
Jennifer Kilbourn, owner of JMK Solutions since December 2011, provides fundraising support for non-profit organizations and administrative and managerial support to small businesses. Jennifer’s primary fundraising focus is grant writing, prospect research management, and advancement resources systems. She began in Denver, CO as a canvasser and fundraiser for a variety of environmental, consumer protection, social service and social justice organizations. For the past seventeen years as a Santa Fe resident, her non-profit experience has progressed into the areas of administration, finance, marketing and fundraising, working with TRADE (Tri-Area Association for Economic Development), College of Santa Fe, New Mexico Land Conservancy and the Museum of New Mexico Foundation.
Jennifer also served for six years as a board member and officer of a long-established health and human services non-profit organization in Santa Fe. During her tenure, through exceptional team work among the staff, board, volunteers and donors, the organization was able to meet the challenges of the economic downturn and even expand their services providing much needed support to those adversely affected by these times. Jennifer’s experience as both an administrative and advancement professional, as well as a non-profit board member has helped her to develop a holistic approach to cooperative, compassionate, and effective management across constituencies.
