Widespread PNM power outage on the Westside, multiple access points are down. PNM is saying restoration of power around 1:30, we'll see how well the network comes back online when that occurs.

A large PNM power outage will likely take down several access points this evening once their backups go down. They keep moving the repair time out an hour each time the power glitches back for a moment to only shut down again. Hopefully they figure out a fix soon.

Rain storms with lightning are expected over the next few days. Stay safe and use caution near arroyos. Lightning strikes on equipment are rare although our access points have taken direct hits several times over the past two decades.

Overnight one of our network routers was restored that should have brought the westside back up properly. We'll be sending out a timeline of recent events/solutions to members later today.

Some westside APs might still be experiencing an outage. We're looking into it.

The westside should be back up now. A plan is being made for a better repair during the Saturday maintenance window 10am - 2pm. Right now we've made some temporary changes since the big outage last weekend which was caused by our battery backup array system.

Westside is experiencing an outage, we're looking into it and hope to have things back online as soon as possible

An outage is being investigated. Three field crew members are en route to the westside fiber connection. More info will be posted if a fix is delayed. There could be multiple issues from a power supply to overnight lightning.

This is just an informational post. The westside is back up on fiber after Lumen finally repaired their equipment. We switched off the backup circuit late last night. If needed, you may still reach out to LCWA at (800) 536-6149 or [email protected]

Lumen has ordered a part to repair our westside fiber circuit. It will apparently take a day to arrive. The backup circuit should be up and more stable now. More information will be posted if Lumen changes the ticket.
