Here's something we don't talk about enough: what's not in our wines.

We use a lot of neutral oak, meaning barrels that have held enough wine to stop imparting flavor. Usually it's 2 vintages worth. This ensures nothing gets between you and what the vineyard actually tastes like (this means nothing is overly "oaked" or buttery)

Once regulated to kir and Crémant, Aligoté is gaining ground as new growers focus on terroir, lower yields…

It's Earth Day, which kind of feels like every day here at Presqu'ile. Between the goats, Kune Kune pigs, horses, barn cats, bobcats, wild pigs, and the occasional badger wandering through... not to mention the solar farm, electric tractor, and beneficial insects doing their thing in the vineyard, it's safe to say we had a lot of directions we could go on the feed today.

So we asked our winemaker Dieter’s daughter for a little help and direction. And thus we present to you: baby goats.

The point of our existence: to make great Pinot Noir.

The Point is Estate Pinot Noir from Block 5, the highest, most demanding rows on our property. Steep grade, sandy soils, coastal winds, and naturally small yields. Four barrels total.
