After much deliberation, weโve made the difficult decision to step away from hosting CCEN mixers and regular networking gatherings.
This was not an easy choice for us. CCEN was created by Vanessa & Krissy with the goal of providing a free space for event professionals to connect, collaborate, support one another, bring foot traffic to local venues, and spotlight the incredible talent within our community. What started as a simple idea grew into something truly special because of all of you.
While we will no longer be hosting mixers or meeting regularly as a group, CCEN itself is not disappearing. We will be keeping our website and social media platforms active so they can continue to serve as a resource and database for vendors, venues, clients, and the community.
We encourage everyone to continue utilizing the platform by sharing posts, events, open houses, recommendations, and industry information that may benefit others in the community. Please be sure to tag CCEN so we can continue helping share and spotlight local vendors, venues, and events.
Although mixers are coming to an end, we have been asked to assist with some future open houses and collaborative industry events, so you may still see CCEN involved in special projects from time to time.
Please also be on the lookout for more posts regarding & Alignable, which are also free mentoring and networking groups here on the Central Coast that continue to support small businesses and community connections.
We are incredibly proud of the connections, collaborations, friendships, and opportunities that were created through this community. Thank you to every venue, vendor, sponsor, volunteer, and attendee who showed up, supported us, and believed in what CCEN stood for.
And who knowsโฆ maybe one day in the future, CCEN mixers will return.
For now, thank you for being part of this journey with us. We truly appreciate every single one of you.
With gratitude,
CCEN Committee
