Check out the new album from DIZGO ‘Innerstate’ - out now! 🎶

GPS client Vance Powell produced, engineered, and mixed the album Vance Powell

From Grateful Web:

The idea behind Innerstate connects the physical interstate with the mental “inner state,” suggesting that while people may experience themselves as individuals traveling separate roads, those paths remain part of larger shared systems. Powell’s production allowed the band to retain the spontaneity and interplay at the center of its live sound while giving the songs room to develop naturally in the studio.

The new album ‘Stray Dogs’ from Nothing But Thieves is out today on RCA Label Group UK 🙌

The album was engineered by GPS client Mark Rankin. Mark Rankin

Mark also mixed the tracks “Baby Kool (Evelyn)” and “American Confidence”.

“As the band has got bigger, strangely, the thing that feels most important is the smaller thing underneath it,” the band tells NME, looking at why they wanted to celebrate the community around them on the album. “You spend so much of your life trying to define yourself as an individual, and eventually you realise most of the good stuff happens because you found the right people or as a result of some dumb decision along the way. The record became a bit of a refuge in that sense: finding your people, finding the pack. We’re grateful for it.”

QOTSA have just released “Where the Goth Girls At?”, unveiling another single from their upcoming album ‘Perfecth’ (out on October 30th via Matador Records).

The single was engineered and mixed by GPS client Mark Rankin. Mark Rankin

From Pitchfork:

Waxing nostalgic about his teenage years in a Palm Desert suburb, Josh Homme sings about young love and the urge to impress others to win their affection. “Watching the goth girls working the counter at JCPenney and giving goth makeovers to the old ladies, that’s when I knew the only place I want to be is where the goth girls at,” he said in a press release. “Teenage love, ain’t it grand?”

You can listen to the single AND watch the music video on all platforms today!

The new album from Beck, Ride Lonesome, is out now via Capitol Records! Give it a listen today 🎶

The LP was engineered by GPS client Erik Brauer Erik Brauer, along with david greenbaum and Darrell Thorp.

From Rolling Stone:

“With its fragile acoustic melodies, desolate lyrics, and spare, subtle studio accompaniment, Ride Lonesome is like Nick Drake’s mumble-folk masterpiece Bryter Layter as the work of a lovelorn Laurel Canyon soft-rock poet. It’s been quite a while since Beck was associated with jokey postmodern irony but he’s rarely sounded this committed to deploying gorgeous melodies as a balm against his existential hangdog blues... [Ride Lonesome] is amorphous, hazy, dappled, and almost impossibly pretty.”

The album was produced by Joshua Homme and Michael Shuman, and the featured track above, “Insignificant Other” was engineered and mixed by GPS client Mark Rankin. Mark Rankin

From Northern Transmissions:

Ahead of the LP’s arrival, the band are sharing the single “Insignificant Other.” “It’s a song about distance,” says frontman Joshua Homme. “About how someone can be your entire world only to simply vanish. And about the strange vertigo of being on the receiving end of that.”

Check out the new single “Baby Kool (Evelyn)” by Nothing But Thieves 🙌 The single is from their forthcoming album ‘Stray Dogs’ due out in September on RCA Label Group UK 🎶

The track was engineered and mixed by GPS client Mark Rankin

From RockSound.TV:

“Nothing But Thieves have shared another piece of their upcoming album ‘Stray Dogs’, and it’s a left turn in the most wonderful of ways.

Titled ‘Baby Kool (Evelyn)’, it’s an ice cold and effortlessly slick piece of alt-rock with plenty of emo and tendencies thrown in for good measure. As always, bolstered by an incredible vocal performance from Conor Mason, it showcases a different side to the band. One that allows for a bit of silliness and tongue-in-cheek fun.”
