Earlier this fall, NorCham LA’s Board of Directors unanimously voted to dissolve our non-profit organization based on a recommendation from our founder and president Erik Steigen.

Thank you so much to our members and supporters. It’s been 7 years since we began this journey, but all good things must come to an end.

We are thrilled to welcome our new corporate member St. Avalo Winery in Los Olivos (Santa Barbara County) into our midst. A Norwegian-owned winery just a couple of hours north of Los Angeles - a perfect weekend getaway.

Rooted in sustainability and organic farming, St, Avalo strive for what many attempt but few achieve - elegance in simplicity. Please visit their tasting room at 2963 Grand Avenue, Los Olivos, CA 93441.

We have had the privilege of tasting several of their wines, and we say this regardless of St. Avalo’s NorCham LA membership: This is quality wine! Absolutely delicious. That goes for the whites as well as the reds, and the rosé. We highly recommend signing up for early bird discounts with St. Avalo’s wine club which is currently in development.

We have also successfully introduced St. Avalo to other NorCham chapters in the United States, as well as to the Norwegian Consul Generals in San Francisco and New York, plus the Embassy in DC. Rumor has it that St. Avalo will be served at May 17th events in several prominent U.S. locations.
