I wanted to share the second half of my epic adventure, which was an expedition to Antarctica. I’ve been waiting to post because of all the pain and suffering in the LA fires and our country in general, but realizing they’re probably won’t be a good time to post, I’m hoping these images will bring you some beauty and joy as I honor this incredible part of the world. After Patagonia, I began my journey to Antarctica first heading to the southeast to the South Georgia islands, which was like the Serengeti of Antarctica with wildlife everywhere mimicking some sort of Disney movie, every species frolicking with each other. And then headed across the drake passage crossing paths with the famed A23a iceberg, which is as large as a country and has been floating around since 1986. Finally heading to the inspiring and very dramatic Antarctic continent, my seventh, where glaciers, icebergs, whales and wildlife surrounded me every day. Between Patagonia and Antarctica, this was a wild adventure. We have such a beautiful world. Cheers to hoping we don’t wreck it.

A few highlights from completing the 78 mile O trek in Patagonia! One of the most challenging of my life - Considering the cold, wet weather, elevation gains every day, heavy backpack and camping in the cold rain, but also the most rewarding and mesmerizing experience. I met the most wonderful people along the way, even though I was hiking solo. Some lifetime connections for sure ! What an incredible experience. 🙌🏼💛✨
