Wishing our Marisha Colson a very Happy Birthday today! 🎂 Marisha is the rock star behind our social media department and we are immensely grateful for her! 💪📱📷 In addition to being digitally gifted in the social realm, she also shares her longtime gift of dance as a dance teacher in the evenings for Rise Dance Center. 💃🏼👐 I’m pretty sure she works 87ish hours a week... and all the while with the most enthusiastic spirit and beautiful smile on her face! A dolphin whisperer who is most comfortable having pizza picnics on the beach, I’m personally convinced that she’s a mermaid reincarnated. 🧜‍♀️✨ We love you, Marisha! Thank you for all you do and so glad you are living this day of birth up in London! XO

Social media shoot for today! BBBC is one of those places where you just wanna hang... and eat + drink pretty much EVERYTHING in house. They have a new-ish afternoon menu during the week that’s a mix of basically all things that pair beautifully with w**e — better yet, natural w**es! Highly recommend the ‘Black Bear Board’ with the rosé.

October marks Pedego Electric Bikes 30A’s 1 year anniversary (CONGRATS, guys 🍾!) and we’ve got two really cool updates to report on their behalf:

First, we recently learned that Pedego 30A is in the top ranking for the #1 Pedego Electric Bikes dealer nationwide — that’s out of 100+ stores, people! 🙌👍 They will find out their official rank in December, so stay tuned...

Secondly, in honor of breast cancer awareness month, Pedego 30A is donating $500 from every Shocking Pink Interceptor sale during the month of October to the American Cancer Society! to seven years ago when gifted this girl with an amazing opportunity to be IN FRONT of the lens: their September/October 2010 Vintage Swimsuits feature! As absolutely terrified as I was to do this (!), I'm so glad I said "yes" — I couldn't have been given a more perfect photographer, my dear friend ! The whole experience left me with a renewed sensitivity chip for what my clients go through when they have to go in front of the lens. Forever grateful to VIE for this day and this memory!!! (side note: I may have downed a few glasses of vino during this shoot...)

That’s right! now has an official home on Instagram! (just a taaad belated.) OK. I could go on here to write a few sentences about why I procrastinated (on launching what is a #1 promo tool for any brand), my ongoing struggle with perfectionism and the various bouts of depression over the years that led me down the path to deeply self-sabotaging unproductiveness. But you don't want to hear about all that! (in all seriousness though, maybe later in a future blog post.) For now, we celebrate.

My business is approaching its 10 year mark in February (so crazy!), so my mission for MPR’s Insta is a fun, thoughtful space to celebrate the last decade with a mix of current today stuff. It’s the people (the clients, creative collaborators, vendors, media friends, etc.) + the work (the stories/creative, events, photo shoots, etc.) that allow us to DO what we DO. I’m really excited about it and hope you will follow along!
