The Sun’s Flower. The Healer’s Ally.

Calendula is more than just a pretty golden bloom.

Long revered for soothing wounds, easing inflammation, and awakening the skin’s innate intelligence, calendula has been used for centuries by herbalists and folk healers.

But at Reålea, we go further. In Aurora, calendula is treated not as an ingredient — but as a presence.

We harvest fresh biodynamic calendula flowers here in Sonoma County, under the early morning influence of the Sun — when the dew still clings to the petals, and the blossoms are sticky with their golden medicine. (After all, Aurora means dawn.)

The blossoms are gently dried at low temperatures in our lab to preserve their vital essence, then infused into oil while still fresh and radiant — creating a rich, golden balm to heal and nourish.

And that’s only the first part.

We also prepare a full-spectrum spagyric extract of calendula: fermented, distilled, calcined, and recombined — capturing the body, soul, and spirit of the plant in a dense, resinous form. This extract is then infused into oil, offering a deeper spectrum of healing.
