I’m heavily influenced by the commercial and couture fashion industry, and my individual style as a wedding photographer is an amalgamation of portraiture, fine art, photojournalism, commercial art and haute couture with the passion and emotion of the moment. Kirsten and Komel were photographed for their engagement photos on Baker Beach part of Golden Gate National Recreation Area in San Francisco, California. Situated at the mouth of the San Francisco Bay; Baker Beach offers beautiful views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Marin Headlands as backgrounds for some very stunning photographs. By the end of this engagement session Kirsten and Komel had gotten completely soaked and sandy from running through the waves and laying in the sand, but it made the difference between them getting good photographs and getting the awesome photographs that were captured. These photographs were part of a series of studio photographs done for the ballet dancers portfolios as well as for publication purposes for the annual Marin Ballet production of the Nutcracker in San Rafael California. It's amazing to witness the dancers power, grace, and flexibility creating such beautiful fluid motion, but to truly know what sort of athletic ability and dedication it takes to be a ballet dancer gives one a completely new appreciation for their grace. It is truly awe inspiring to witness them perform up close as I've had the opportunity to do on so many occasions.

Crystal and Anthony were married at StoneTree Golf Course in Novato, CA. We had a beautiful sunset and an awesome 1964 Chevy Impala the take photos with. The grounds of the StoneTree Club House and the golf course itself are spectacular for photography giving many choices for backgrounds which ultimately leads to a wealth of different looks and styles. This is a venue that I've worked many times over the years and it never ceases to dazzle. Crystal had an amazing gown and look to her reminiscent of Cleopatra. At the end of the day Crystal staked a claim to her husband and his Impala all in good fun. If you are ever looking for a venue in the Novato area StoneTree is not to be missed.

Jaelyn is the daughter of a good friend who works in the wedding industry with us, and had trusted us with the photography on her special day. Truly one of the most important parts of their lives we were honored to capture their wedding day for them. Jaelyn and Brandon were married at the Arden Hills Resort, Club and Spa in Sacramento California. Jaelyn and Brandon rented one of the villas for the occasion and had their reception in the main hall at Arden Hills resort. This location offers some truly wonderful areas that are very conducive to great photography. This location is large enough to handle very large wedding parties or very private ones. Jaelyn, Brandon, and their families had a wonderful wedding celebration and have some very special images and memories to last them a lifetime.

Julia and Justin were married at TJ Farms Estates in Chico California. There are some truly dynamic photographs that came out of this wedding, however since space is limited I can show but a few of them. This location is truly awesome, and could be described as a professional photographers playground. Everywhere we turned there was a great background to use. Having a bride and groom that were up for anything made the photos even better, and given that this wedding happened in early October we had pumpkins in the pumpkin patch as well. Julia, Justin and their guests had a fantastic time and when the sun went down and the music came up the party really came alive.

These images were made a couple years ago in Bonnie Springs, NV. The day I took these photos the temperature was hovering around 45 degrees so it was very cold for the models. I as well as the other photographers that participated in the alumni shoot that year had a wonderful time and got some fantastic photographs for our portfolios as well as the models portfolios. Special thanks goes out to Wayne Wallace for organizing the event, the models who have hopefully defrosted by now and Hallmark Institute of Photography for sponsoring the event.
