We are still in awe from last week! The grand reveal reception held on August 27th for our TRASH art exhibit was a smashing success. With just under 200 attendees to see the opening exhibit, the room was alive with passion and creativity. The artists were able to share their story with the community while inspiring different perspectives about sustainability. If you missed the opening reception, you can still see this body of work through December 11th at the Herold Mahoney Library at the Santa Rosa Junior College Petaluma Campus. Come see it today!

We want to give a special shoutout to our friend David in Santa Rosa! 💚🩵

Apartment complexes can be challenging spots when it comes to contamination. So we are deeply grateful when we meet a Waste Zero champion who works hard to keep their enclosures looking good. David is a property manager and has been dedicated to keeping this space clean, clear, and easy for people to use. He let us know that he always keeps compost out of the landfill, and he wants to do his part to reduce the property's carbon footprint. We are so grateful to David and all who take pride in what they do—thank you, and keep up the incredible work!

Composting used paper towels, spent bread, and other food scraps helps prevent the production of harmful greenhouse gases, like methane. Thank you to the dedicated staff for doing such an amazing job!

Our hearts are officially melting! One of our absolute favorite parts of serving this wonderful community is getting to meet our Littlest Fans 💚

We recently hosted a booth for Cotati Kids' Day, and one of our amazing community members sent us this adorable photo of a future Waste Zero Champion in action! Check out that incredibly stylish, custom-made Recology truck costume—complete with googly-eye headlights! 🚛

We are excited to share that Waste Management, one of the facilities that processes your organic materials, will be hosting a customer appreciation day on July 25th, 10 AM – 2 PM! Come by 8950 Redwood Hwy, in Novato for free tacos and quesadillas, free compost (up to 1yd), and a chance to see a falconer and their equipment.
