We were so busy talking zero waste at the Novato Festival of Art, Wine & Music last weekend that we only managed to snap one photo. Naturally, it’s a masterpiece. 🎨🍷

Meet Peach. This pup doesn't know much about composting, but the enthusiasm for pets is unmatched. Easily our favorite booth visitor of the weekend! 🐶💛

A massive thank you to the Novato Chamber for putting on another fantastic community event, and to everyone (two-legged and four-legged) who swung by to say hi.

Save the date for Recology Village on July 8th, 5pm at Courthouse Square in Santa Rosa!
Kids can practice reuse through playing at Recology’s cardboard city creation station. Or go on a scavenger hunt to win a prize and explore their creativity at this community event with us and through a variety of other organizations at the market. Everyone is welcome!

We want to give big shout out of gratitude to all those that volunteered at the 2026 Wine Country Century earlier this May. With 6 locations over the course of two days (plus 5 aid stations) it was no easy task to set up waste stations across the event. But with their coordinated efforts, creative signage, and team work they did an incredible job! They were able to divert clean compost and recycling to be recovered instead of being sent to the landfill.

Since the opening of our new Recycling Facility, we have given tours to just over 1,700 people! 👏

We are proud of our new facility and want to create transparency by showing customers exactly what happens to their recyclables beyond their bin.
