Experience Surrogate Hillary:

Becoming a surrogate and an egg donor were two of the most life-shaping decisions I’ve ever made. ❤️

Both experiences taught me so much about family, love, strength, and the many ways families are created. Egg donation allowed me to help begin a family’s story, while surrogacy gave me the opportunity to carry that story forward.

My surrogacy journey was about so much more than pregnancy. It was about trust, connection, advocacy, and being part of something bigger than myself.

Working with Positive Surrogacy made such a meaningful difference. I always felt heard, informed, supported, and genuinely cared for. Their personal experience with surrogacy allows them to understand what surrogates truly need—and that support stays with you long after your journey ends.

One of the greatest gifts of my journey was the community of other surrogates. The friendships, support, and shared understanding are something I will always treasure.

💕 What made you decide to become a surrogate?
I first decided to become a surrogate because I loved the idea of being able to give someone the gift of becoming a parent. Having my own children made me realize just how special motherhood and having a family can be and knowing that there are people who want that so badly but cannot carry a pregnancy themselves really touched my heart.
What started as wanting to help another family became so much more for me. After four surrogacy journeys, I can truly say that being a surrogate has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. There is something incredibly special about knowing that you helped bring a baby into the world for a family who had been waiting and hoping for that moment.
💕 What was your experience like working with Positive Surrogacy?
My experience with Positive Surrogacy was very positive. One of the things I appreciated most was having support and guidance throughout the process. Surrogacy is an amazing experience, but it can also be emotional and sometimes overwhelming. Having people there who understand the process and who you can reach out to with questions or concerns makes such a difference.
I always appreciated feeling like I had someone in my corner throughout the journey and knowing that I wasn’t going through the process alone.
💕 What was your favorite or most meaningful part of the experience?
For me, the most meaningful part has always been the moment the baby is born and seeing the parents meet their baby for the first time. It is very hard to put that feeling into words.
You spend months carrying this little person, going through appointments, milestones, kicks, and all the emotions that come with pregnancy, but the entire time you know what you are working toward. Seeing happiness and emotion on the parents’ faces when they finally get to hold their baby makes everything worth it.
Those are moments I will always carry with me.

Experienced Surrogate Shandy:
I had heard about surrogacy before but wasn’t really sure what it really was until a friend of mine explained it further. When I heard exactly what it was, I knew I immediately wanted to be one. Having 2 children myself and knowing how much love they bring, the thought of being able to give someone else a chance at that feeling was exhilarating. Positive surrogacy made the experience so joyful. They walked me through each step with compassion, knowledge and a high level of personal care which is so important. You aren’t just treated like a patient or customer or another number, you are treated like family. They offer so much support along the way, are quick to communicate no matter if the query is big or small. They truly make you feel important and valued. For me the best moment throughout it all was seeing the parents hold their baby for the first time. A baby they had tried for years through so many ups and downs. When I saw them with her, I saw them fill with love and joy and I envisioned giving. To see them just relax into being parents after years of uncertainty they had finally got there and to be able to be a part of that is such a beautiful and fulfilling experience. Being a surrogate is one of the proudest accomplishments I have made, and I am so excited to say that I am embarking on a second journey! If you are wondering about becoming a surrogate, I can tell you it is one of the best decisions you will ever make, and the second best is choosing to go through Positive Surrogacy. Before I was Positive Surrogacy, I was a surrogate. Twice. And I loved every second of both journeys.
With 14 years in the surrogacy industry and the personal experience of walking through surrogacy myself, I know firsthand just how important it is to have the right people in your corner. Surrogacy is so much more than appointments, paperwork, contracts, and matching—it’s emotional, personal, exciting, overwhelming, and incredibly beautiful. ✨ Precious moments with our experienced surrogate, K. 💛

As a gestational surrogate, close monitoring throughout the entire pregnancy—especially during the IVF stage—is incredibly important. In most cases, surrogates are seen weekly by their IVF clinic.

Before embryo transfer, these appointments focus on monitoring the uterine lining and hormone levels to ensure the body is ready for transfer. After transfer, the clinic continues to monitor hormone levels, confirm the pregnancy, and make sure both baby and surrogate are progressing beautifully.

Most IVF clinics will continue this close monitoring through the first 10–12 weeks of pregnancy. Once everything looks healthy and stable, the surrogate graduates from her IVF clinic and transitions into the care of her OB/GYN for the remainder of her pregnancy.

At Positive Surrogacy, we’re there every step of the journey, ensuring our surrogates and intended parents feel supported from the very first appointment to delivery. 💙

A huge shoutout to Surrogate M—our very own rockstar! She absolutely amazed us throughout this journey, carrying these sweet twins for over 38 weeks, which is nothing short of incredible. She made a twin pregnancy and delivery look effortless, even though we know just how much strength, determination, and sacrifice it truly takes.

Surrogacy begins with IVF, a journey filled with hope, patience, and perseverance. Add a twin pregnancy to the mix, and it takes an extraordinarily special woman to give such an incredible gift.

One month later, we’re still in awe of Surrogate M’s strength, resilience, and selfless heart. We couldn’t be more proud of her and so grateful she helped make this family’s dream come true.
