It’s always tough to watch a company you believe in take a turn for the worse. But it happens, especially when leaders make decisions in a silo without truly understanding what customers value most.

Recently, I’ve seen two companies I’ve been a customer of make some significant changes. These changes were made by overlooking the most important voice—their customers’. In both cases, they raised prices and shifted focus to something that, if they had surveyed their customers, would have been identified as the least valuable aspect of their offering.

Here’s the takeaway: What you think is best for your business may not always align with what your customers actually need or want. Not asking for or ignoring their feedback can lead to losing the very people who helped build your success. Before making big changes, take the time to ask, listen, and adapt. It could make all the difference.

🌟 Best and Worst Cold Email Ever Received 🐐😂

So, this morning I got the most epic cold email. Seriously, it was both the best and the worst. Why? Because the sender literally photoshopped my head onto a goat! 🐐

I get dozens of cold messages a day and usually ignore 99.99% of them. And, unfortunately, this one won’t get a reply either. 🤷‍♀️ Here’s why:

As creative as the sender is, he’s running his business with a Gmail address. 😬 If you want me to take your social media marketing services seriously, you need to have a website and a branded email, not just an Instagram account and a free Gmail address.

But hey, it definitely gave me a good laugh! 😂

Y'all, I just saw this and it's wild to me. If Taco Bell (of all places) can turn something as simple as nacho fries into a membership, what's stopping you from creating your own recurring revenue stream in your business? 🌮🔥

Imagine this: $10 for 30 days of nacho fries. They’ve got people coming back every single day! (and they probably will order something to go with those fries)

So, here's your wake-up call:

Get Creative: Find that irresistible offer.
Add Value: Make it something your customers can't resist.
Build Loyalty: Give them a reason to return over and over.

If Taco Bell can do it with nacho fries, you can surely craft offers that provide value and keep your clients and customers coming back for more.

📚✏️ It's that time of year again—back-to-school season! As someone who has always loved school and office supplies, I can't help but take a stroll down my favorite aisle whenever the stores start stocking up. Today, while working on a project, I reached for my favorite pen, the Pilot Precise V5 RT (if you know, you know 😉), and realized I might be set for a while! 🖊️✨

If you need me, though, you might still find me wandering the aisles of Target, checking out the latest and greatest in back-to-school finds. There's just something so satisfying about new supplies, isn't there?

Being a boy mom can be tough when my kid couldn't care less about all this stuff. But hey, more for me, right? 😅
