Very insightful article for leaders in any industry - especially as we head into the 2nd half of the year. Our take-aways:

📌 Concerns about career advancement and skill building caused nearly one in five employees to quit their jobs.

📌 People can't advance in their career if they're not ready, but if employers don’t provide learning and development opportunities, they will never be ready.

📌 Managers remain the key to failure and success, in how they treat people while under pressure, demonstrate respect, enforce fairness, and model accountability.

Higher expectations, less time, increased pressure. This is the reality for today's workers - especially in the nonprofit sector. This article calls out something that gets to the heart of communication culture: "moving burnout topics from break room to the boardroom."
