What makes Senior Moves, owned by Sue Ellen Addicott unique - is that she started this company (almost 10 years ago), after she retired from a successful career as a Conference Director in Washington D.C. She had seen that a great deal of education and care was need in the senior move business. She didn't "need" to start the business, that wasn't the mission. The mission was to help seniors and their families with honesty, care and compassion. Sue Ellen has a vast body of knowledge to help people who are in what can be, a very stressful and scary time. Here's a little known fact... your home does not need to have enough linens, crockery, cutlery, or pantry supplies to serve as a hotel. On the off chance that an unusually large number of guests arrive at your doorstep, you can always borrow from friends, family or neighbors.

Don't make things harder than they need to be! Trying to the hardest stuff first can be discouraging. Start with something easy, like that drawer full of free condiments (you know you have one). Successfully accomplishing a simple task will give you the strength to tackle the hard decisions.

If you love to cook, or you just love gadgets, you probably know how quickly kitchen gadgets can accumulate but, if you never use your food processor (or any other gadget) because it's too hard to set up or clean, it's okay to give it to a loved one who will appreciate it, sell it, or donate it.
