MyMichigan Medical Center Auxiliary is holding their annual Scrap Metal Drive at the corner of Nolte and Pine. Bob and Cindy Hopper were there to greet me when I stopped in with some sheet metal. We'll be donating our scrap metal to them this week.

Hello, folks! We’ve got some big changes coming down the pipeline that we’re happy to share! We are thrilled to announce the launch of Retro Electro, our venture into computer and electronics resale! Our Tech Director Chris has been working around the clock to get this off the ground, and we’re excited to share that it’s almost ready.

If you’re looking for a new computer, but don’t want to spend an arm and a leg to get good hardware, we’re here for you. You can get ahold of us at our new page, Retro Electro, where we’ll be posting ads for our inventory. You can also contact us at (906) 569-0411, or email us at [email protected]

We’ve spent years focusing on responsible recycling, and now we are excited to venture into the world of resale, providing you with sustainable and affordable computing and electronic options.

Currently, the office is by appointment only, but coming soon we will be offering limited open door hours for shoppers. More on that soon.

Hello folks. We would just like to remind everyone that when you dump your things here without paying the proper fees, that takes money out of our pocket and discourages us from continuing our mission. This has been happening much more frequently lately. We are NOT a full service recycler, meaning we do not do most of the processing here, and we do not profit from the recyclables. We are simply one stop on the journey. Because of this, we have to charge in order to offset the fees that we pay to make sure these things complete their journey. Because of this, when people take advantage of us, and try to bypass our fees, it hurts the entire community. Please, if you know who did this, contact us so that we can correct this and continue to serve this beautiful community.

We're looking forward to working with the great kids at Pickford Schools again this year!

Meet Rowan the Recycler! You may already know him if you've visited us. He accompanies us most Saturdays to the collection center and loves to greet customers. Rest assured, even though he might greet you with a loud "woo-woo-woo," he is very friendly.
