Success is subjective.👀

Are you design your business around your dream life?

Or do you find yourself struggling to stay passionate about the business you’ve build, and wonder “how did my dream business become such a chore?”

It’s easy to get consumed and in a cycle of wanting bigger and better.

There’s nothing wrong with having BIG goals.

However, the problems arise when you only have those big goals because you want to keep up with everyone else.

It’s so easy to think that your goals and design for your business isn’t adequate when you see someone else’s goals are 10x “bigger” than yours.

I’ve come to realize my business goals are quiet different than a lot of other in the space and that’s okay, it doesn’t make me “less successful”. Successful is a subjective term and means someone different to everyone.

At the beginning of my journey, I would’ve told you that I wanted to reach 10k months, however that goal has shifted due to some deep soul searching and self- reflection.

I was chasing numbers because that’s what I thought measured my success.

However, I realize success for me meant something different right now.

Success for me is:

- being 100% in control of my schedule and hours
- close, genuine, and sustainable relationships with my clients
- being able to take a few weeks off because I want to
- having a sustainable client load so that my business can grow as my family does

Whatever success means for you, I urge you to take a look at what your dream life looks like a design your business around YOUR desires, not around what you think your desires should be💗

How to: Schedule a month’s worth of content for your FB Group!!!✨

Do you feel like you're constantly trying to keep up with your fb group to keep you members engaged?

It’s my bday week!!
& Holy Moly!!

Never in a million years would I have thought I would have a successful and sustainable business at this age! 🤯

I wish I could go back and tell 22 year old Bre, who was constantly s t r e s s i n g about finding my “DREAM” corporate job right after graduating college, that it’s 100% possible to build the business of your dreams!✨

I was a ball of anxiety and definitely wasn’t excited about my future… but I thought this was what I was supposed to do. 🥴

But here I am, growing the business of my dreams and the life of my dreams! 🙌🏼

I’m here to tell you, it’s possible.

How to increase your reach by 200%.

Want to guess which day I posted reels??

If you guess Dec 19th, Dec 22th and Jan 12th, you’re correct!

Right now, reels are your BEST option to reaching a higher number of accounts.

If we are being honest, I was skeptical and felt like reels were something that was just going to come and go like a lot of new IG features.

Well, I’m here to yell ya, reels aren’t going anywhere and if you want more eyeball to your content I highly suggest using them!

Here’s the ONE thing you need when trying to grow organically and authentically🪄✨

TIME. ⏱

If you take one lesson out of this post let it be this: Intentional growth does NOT happen quickly.

I have a lot of inquiries asking for the same thing “I want to grow my audience so I can make more sales”

Okay, AWESOME but what you need to know is that it takes time, strategy, and a lot of patience/consistency.

Did you know that a lead needs to come in contact with your content 8-21 times before they are likely to invest with you?!

Now that does not mean you need to be in their DMs talking about your offer 8 times. Absolutely not. Please do not do this. 🥴

What it does mean is you need to connect with them 8-21 times in an authentic, relatable, bestie type of way! 🥰

Okay…. but what if you have an offer you are launching soon and you need/want to make sales?!

This is where you need to plan ahead and create a strategy so that your leads are READY to jump in when your offer launches and they are coming to YOU!🤩

Fun fact: Every single one of my clients came to ME about my packages and offers!

IG is ever changing and word on IG Ave. ⚠️ is that video based content is only going to continue to be favored.

The usage of stories in 2020 skyrocketed and continues to rise. In some cases, it has been reported that more users check their stories than their post feed.

Let me ask you, what’s getting the most reach nowadays??? Reels!

Video based content is IT right now.

Stories are a place to get comfy on camera, show your audience who you are, what you do, and what you bring to the table in an organic, low pressure, and authentic way.🙌🏼

TIP: Making your stories interactive will boosts interest and hold attention longer!

2020 the BEST year of my life!?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Yes! Yes, it was, and here’s why…

2020 was the year that really shook the majority of us. I don’t think I need to recap you on all the events/crises/etc that possibly puts this past 12 months in the “worst year ever” category…
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Honestly, in some cases, I could see how this past year could be one of the worst years of my life...
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
•I’ve lost loved ones
•I job searched for months
•My dream wedding and honeymoon got canceled
•My husband suffered a career-ending injury
Etc, etc, etc...
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Despite these things, 2020 has in some cases forced me to grow in ways that I didn’t even know were possible, and despite the uncertainties, I've been able to experience things this year that were so beautiful and helped me realize that there are so many things to be grateful for.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Here’s why 2020 was the best year of my life:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
• I got to marry my bestie
•I read more books than ever before
•I started appreciating wine
•I started my own business
•I moved and renovated my very own house
•I adopted (and kept alive) 7 indoor plants (let’s not talk about the outdoor babies )
•I changed the way I view self-care
•I made some amazing online besties!
•I grew in my faith
•I spent the sweetest weeks with my immediate family after being apart for 4 years
•I interviewed on a podcast
& I grew

2020 was the year that changed my life. Thank you 2020 & helloooooo 2021!!!

I take days off while still taking care of my clients and here’s how:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1 # PLAN ahead. Take a look at your calendar and note the days you want to take for yourself. Notify your client ahead of time. I like to do this a month in advance, so we both have adequate time to plan accordingly.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2 # COMMUNICATE expectations. I communicate to my client what this will mean for them and ask them their expectations. I also give them options to choose from and already have an action plan in mind before this conversation. This takes the pressure off of them to come up with a plan. They have enough on their plate!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3 # IMPLEMENT the plan. Depending on the tasks and what the client wants/needs, I may work ahead to make sure all posts/content/copy/newsletters are prepped/scheduled during my absence if working ahead isn't an option due to the nature of the tasks another option is to prorate the appropriate invoice!

A 2021 goal of mine is to add to the Vliem Virtual Team, so my business can run even better when I’m out of the office. Delegating/outsourcing is such a GREAT resource because your business can run smoothly without YOU.

It’s safe to say for the majority of us, 2020 was a doozy. 😅

It’s easy for us to reflect and think of every little and big thing that didn’t go as planned.

Today, I am challenging you to put 2020 down. It’s too heavy to carry around.

I also want you to ask yourself a few questions.

“What was I able to accomplish?”
“What new things did I try?”
“What did I learn?”
“What small or big steps have I taken?”

In a year full of curveballs, changed plans, and loss it’s important to recognize what you HAVE accomplished.

Maybe you started drinking more water, taking more walks, or learned a new skill.

No accomplishment is too small. Every accomplishment matters!
