Day 3 in wonderful downtown Raleigh, NC!
After two days of training with CAMEO and ALOHA, we’re shifting gears and putting the information to work. Today and tomorrow, we’re focused on HazMat Group Officer training with our Managing the Three Ring Circus program.
This isn’t death by PowerPoint. The classroom concepts are reinforced through simulations and realistic, hands-on scenarios designed to make students assess conditions, manage resources, make decisions, and deal with the challenges of running a HazMat incident.
And we don’t believe in one-size-fits-all scenarios. For Raleigh, we developed exercises around realistic local threats and conditions—the types of incidents responders could actually face in their own community. That makes the training relevant, challenging, and immediately applicable.

Great week of HazMat training with EMSOL!

EMSOL is providing CAMEO® and ALOHA® training, along with Managing the Three-Ring Circus: The Challenges of the HazMat Officer.

One of the things that has made this week especially valuable has been the outstanding cooperation from our local hosts. Rather than relying solely on classroom examples, our scenarios are being built around one of their actual target facilities.

Even better, the facility opened its doors to the responders, giving them the opportunity to see the operation firsthand and then apply that knowledge during realistic HazMat scenarios.

Real facilities. Real hazards. Realistic scenarios. Better prepared responders.
