When reading this article, one of the main details that jumped out was the five "lean thinking processes" it posed businesses should consider: defining values, mapping the value stream, creating flow, using a pull system and pursuing perfection.
Here at RLI we strive to do just that, but it always does us well to have a reminder and to motivate our team to continue our pursuit in fulfilling these values.
The second detail that jumped out was the emphasis with new technology comes new CSTDs--closed system drug-transfer devices. Technology is always changing and getting better, so we also must adapt to the new SOPs and products out there that can move us to uncharted yet contemporary territory.
