Greater Savannah Black Chamber Of Commerce

10/21/2026

Some nights are worth getting dressed up for. Others become memories we talk about for years.

The GSBCC Black & Blues Gala is BOTH!

For 10 years, we’ve celebrated the business owners, community leaders, visionaries, and changemakers who continue to shape the Greater Savannah region. And this year, we’re celebrating a DECADE of Black Excellence!

The fashion. The music. The people. The recognition. And those unforgettable moments that remind us just how much talent and excellence exists right here in our community.

If you’ve attended before, you already know. And if you haven’t, THIS is the year to experience it!

The Details:
Date: December 3, 2026
When: Social Hour: 6 PM | Gala: 7 PM
Where: Armstrong Center | Savannah

Early bird tickets are available through October 31, so don’t wait until everybody starts posting their outfits to decide you want to come!

Come dressed to impress, ready to celebrate, and prepared for an evening worth remembering.

Savannah, we’ve got 10 years of excellence to celebrate. Will you be there?

…this is what COMMUNITY looks like!

Today’s Business Flood at the Habitat for Humanity Savannah ReStore was a beautiful reminder of what happens when a community shows up with purpose!

The turnout was AMAZING, and seeing so many people supporting two organizations committed to strengthening our community meant everything to us.

When you support minority-owned businesses and minority-led organizations, you’re investing in people, creating opportunities, and helping build a community where everyone has a chance to thrive.

To everyone who showed up today, THANK YOU! Your support doesn’t go unnoticed, and we don’t take it lightly.

You keep showing up for us, and we’ll keep doing everything in our power to show up for YOU. That’s our commitment.

A special thank you to Coastal Empire Habitat for Humanity for an incredible partnership!

This is how we build a stronger Savannah!

🧡💙 SAVANNAH, A TIME WAS HAD!!! 💙🧡

The 2026 Savannah State University Homecoming Parade was EVERYTHING, and the GSBCC loved every single minute of it!

Savannah, you showed us so much love along that parade route! From the cheers and waves to the folks calling out GSBCC, we felt every bit of it. Thank you, CITY!

A HUGE thank you to JC Lewis Motor Company for providing our ride!

And to our GSBCC crew, you NEVER let us down! Every time we call, you show up and represent this Chamber with so much pride.

We couldn’t ask for a better group of people to do this work with.

Congratulations to Savannah State University on another incredible Homecoming celebration! There’s something special about seeing our city come alive for an institution with so much history, culture, and legacy.

We came. We marched. We had ourselves a GOOD time!

Until next year, SSU!

🧡 SAVANNAH, BABYYYYY! Y’all know what time it is?! 💙

IT’S SSU HOMECOMING WEEKEND, and tomorrow, October 17, we’re taking it to the STREETS!

The Tigers are coming through, the band is about to show OUT, and you already know Savannah is about to be FULL of that orange and blue!

And guess what? The Greater Savannah Black Chamber of Commerce will be right there in the parade, representing our small businesses and showing some serious Tiger pride!

So get those outfits together, charge those phones, and put on some comfortable shoes because we have a whole lot of celebrating to do!

And listen, please don’t stand on the sidewalk acting brand new when you see the GSBCC coming through! We expect some waving, some cheering, and ALL that Savannah love!

Tomorrow is for the Tigers, the alumni, the students, and everybody who knows what SSU Homecoming means to this city!

It’s time to MIX, MINGLE & CONNECT again!

October is bringing us another opportunity to get out, meet new people, and make some business connections!

The GSBCC is heading to Vintage Special Events Center for our next Networking Social, and we’d love to see some familiar faces AND plenty of new ones.

The Details:
🔵 Thursday, October 22 | 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
🔵 Vintage Special Events Center | 980 Industry Dr., Savannah

Our mixers create space for business owners, entrepreneurs, professionals, and community members to connect without the pressure of a formal meeting. You never know who you’ll meet, what conversation might spark an idea, or where a new connection could lead.

Already a Chamber member? Bring someone who isn’t! Curious about joining the GSBCC? This is a great opportunity to meet us and see what our business community is all about.

Come ready to network, have a good time, and make some connections!

RSVP on our story or in the comments! 💙

Well, look at what showed up in our inbox completely unexpected!

The Greater Savannah Black Chamber of Commerce was named a 2025 Best of Georgia Honorable Mention Winner in the Chambers of Commerce category! And here’s something we’re especially proud of. We were the ONLY Black Chamber of Commerce recognized in this category!

Now THAT says something!

This recognition belongs to our entire community. Every business owner who trusts us, every member who shows up, every partner who supports our mission, and every person who believes in the work we’re doing across Greater Savannah.

It also speaks to the dedication of our Board of Directors and Staff, who work every single day to advocate for, support, and create opportunities for small and minority-owned businesses throughout our region.

We know the work we’re doing matters, but receiving recognition like this reminds us that our community sees it, too.

But we’re not finished yet!

Voting for the 2026 Best of Georgia Awards is OPEN, and we’d love your vote!

Cast your vote here: https://gbj.com/savannah/community-organizations/greater-savannah-black-chamber-of-commerce

We represent YOU, and this recognition belongs to ALL of us. This is OUR win, Savannah!
