Pennsylvania Laborers' Training Center Training Center for Union Laborer's located just north of the city of Pittsburgh. Feel the Power!

The Pennsylvania Laborers' Training Center is a cutting-edge facility with capabilities for training Laborers in all the current skills that give our contractors a competitive advantage. Constructed in 1992, we have continually expanded in size and curriculum to incorporate all the latest technology, equipment, and certifications that our journeyman and apprentices need to do their jobs safely and

effectively. Our employees are highly trained and knowledgeable, with nationally recognized, certified instructors that will teach the latest skills to every apprentice and journeyman, as well as highly qualified staff to register you for classes and answer all your questions pertaining to certification. Currently, there are 45 courses offered, covering such topics as concrete, asbestos, scaffolding, blueprint reading, and first aid. All current journeyman, apprentices, and potential union members are strongly encouraged to utilize this valuable resource to better prepare themselves for future employment.

Labor Day weekend is almost here, and the Mid-Atlantic is getting ready. 💪🧡

Our Pennsylvania Laborers' are gearing up for one of the biggest days of the year as LIUNA members from across the Commonwealth come together in Pittsburgh for the Labor Day Parade.

The shirts are ready. The hats are ready. The LIUNA van is ready. Now we just need our Laborers. 🔥

Labor Day belongs to the working men and women who build our communities, strengthen our economy, and fight for a better future for working families. On Monday, we’ll be proud to stand alongside the Pennsylvania Laborers' District Council and hundreds of our LIUNA brothers and sisters to celebrate it together.

Pennsylvania Laborers', we’ll see you in Pittsburgh!

Looking out for each other is part of the job. 🧡

September is Su***de Prevention Month and National Recovery Month, and it’s an important reminder that the strength of our Union has always been about more than the work we do.

We work side by side. We look out for one another. And when one of our brothers or sisters is going through something, they should know they don’t have to carry it alone.

Mental health challenges and substance use can affect anyone. Talking about it, asking for help, or checking in on someone who may be struggling isn’t weakness. It’s what we do for the people standing beside us every day.

Across the Mid-Atlantic, let’s keep building a culture where our members know it’s okay to speak up, support is met with respect, and nobody feels like they have to struggle alone.

And when help is needed, L.E.A.N. is there to support Laborers and their families. You don’t have to face it alone.

Take care of yourself. Check on your crew. Be there for each other. We’re all in this together.
