Allow me to introduce myself! My name is Anna Grace Macukas. I live in a sweet little town called Sayville on Long Island, NY with my amazing seven year old daughter and my partner (her dad).
I’ve had six pretty unique living situations since moving out after college, and in each one, my goal has been to create a space that feels like home. These spaces have been everything from a basement without an actual kitchen, a mini loft-bedroom cottage, a rented bedroom in a friends’ house, a bunk bed in a shared room in Thailand, a caretakers cottage, and a multi-generational shared home.
Making a home for myself and my family in these environments has stretched my ability to look outside of the box at how space is utilized, explore alternative storage options, and learn how to live a non-minimalist life in a small space without it feeling confined.
Over time, these skills turned into instinct, and bringing this perspective into others’ homes has become my goal! There is nothing more satisfying to me than getting to help others function more efficiently and peacefully in their home-spaces through sorting and storing belongings and designing organizational systems and layouts that work for everyone’s needs.
On this page, I will be sharing some of the tips and tricks that I have acquired over the years, as well as progress on the work that I do outside of my home.
I hope that you join me on my journey to becoming at peace with your belongings, no matter what space you live in.
Welcome to my home!
