Tips for spring fencing: Fencing to keep livestock In? Or Fencing to keep livestock Out?

If you live in a free range state, the responsibility falls on the home owner to put up fencing to keep livestock off your property.

If you lease land, pay attention to boundaries not part of the lease. Especially if grazing on oil fields, near septics, or rivers and lakes.

Sharing fence lines, pasture rotation, fixing damaged areas of the fence, or protecting certain areas. Knowing what you’ll need and cost to maintain puts you steps ahead.
