💢💭Did you know: October 4-10 is Fire Prevention Week🔥

The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) is teaming up with NASCAR driver Joey Gase for this year's Fire Prevention Week theme, "Charge into Fire Safety: Safe Charging is a Superpower." Among other safety protocols and a few simple reminders that can make a difference in protecting your home or business listed below, the theme specifically focuses on steps people can take to charge devices powered by lithium-ion batteries safely.

Take a few minutes this week to:
• Charge lithium-ion devices with the proper charger, and avoid overloading outlets.
• Test smoke alarms and make sure they’re working.
• Keep cooking areas clear and never leave active cooking unattended.
• Keep flammable materials at least 3 feet from heating equipment.
• Check electrical cords and outlets for damage or overloading.
• Make sure everyone knows how to safely exit in an emergency.

"Owner, engineer, Adam and team including Austin, Travis, and Killian have been wonderful! I had a sneaky leak in my condo that left myself, insurances, and HOA with lack of clarity — this team addressed the non-urgent matter right away, kindly, accurately, and identified the mystery problem!!

They were professional and courteous throughout. They arrived w all of the right tools and devices to keep my things protected while efficiently doing their job and left my condo cleaner than they found it :)

I would highly recommend this team!"

We greatly appreciate the kind words, E. Bailey. You and our community are important to us. It is our pleasure to help and be of great service to you. Thank you!

It's great to be together!

Behind our local Rainbow Restoration team led by Ben Barringer, there are other Rainbow teams similar to ours operating across the nation. Over the next two days, we are hosting a group of those leaders here at our Scarborough Rainbow Conference Center.

These two days are for strategizing, brainstorming, troubleshooting, and discussing ideas as we look at what's behind us and most importantly, what's ahead for our restoration and reconstruction businesses.

It's wonderful having everyone here in Maine! And thank you again to our customers who allow us to do the work we do. You are part of our everyday story and we are honored to continue servicing the Greater Portland, Maine area alongside our fellow "Rainbowneans" across the nation.

Severe weather is creating restoration challenges across the country, and Kansas City is a timely example of the aftermath.

David Grace of Rainbow Restoration of Kansas City shared what he’s seeing locally, from flooded basements to hidden water damage and the risk of bacteria or mold when affected areas aren’t properly dried.

Education is an important part of restoration. Standing water is obvious. Damage behind walls, under flooring or in other hidden areas often isn’t.

Part of restoring communities is helping property owners understand how water can move through a property and the damage it can leave behind.
