Before blaming the ink, check the dryer and the stock. Poor gloss on heatset webs usually comes down to heat, absorption, or water, not the formulation.

Common culprits:
✔ Excessive ink pe*******on into the substrate
✔ Paper that is too absorbent or rough
✔ Excessive oven temperature
✔ Too much dampener water
✔ Ink film that is too thin
