The 4th of July will be here before you know it, and we are less than $3,000 away from our fundraising goal to bring you all the fun, entertainment, and of course, the 70th Annual Parade. Welcome to Summer! What's happening today?

- Schroon Lake Farmers Market: 9am-1pm, Town Pavilion, Leland Ave.

- Friends of the Library Used Book Sale: 10am–2pm, basement of the HHHN Schroon Lake Health Center (behind Town Hall).

- NYS Department of Environmental Conservation "Get Outdoors & Get Together Day": 10am -2pm, Scaroon Manor Campground. Free, family-friendly event, co-hosted by the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities.

- Worldwide Knit in Public Day: 10am-5pm, Art By The Lake, 1091 US Route 9.

- Seagle Festival “Opera Shots”: 6:30-8:30pm, The Bevy at The Lodge at Schroon Lake.

COME JOIN THE FUN! Schroon Lake's 4th of July Celebration is coming and we want YOU to be a part of it! We're taking applications for vintage vehicles (pre-1965), floats, and organizations to be in the Parade. Being in the Parade is an opportunity for you to show how proud you are to be part of this amazing community and celebrate what makes us special. Parade participation is also a great opportunity to boost your visibility to a captive audience of thousands, as you join in on the premier event that brings so many folks to Town. This year we are celebrating not only America's 250th anniversary but also our 70th annual event!
