Thank you to everyone that helped to make this year's Sausagefest such a huge success. Special thanks to all the volunteers who help to make an event like Sausagefest possible. You all really stepped up in 2026 and we are so grateful for you. We are already preparing for next year's event that will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2027!! We will have contests for Pickles, Wine and Sauerkraut as well as the sausage competitions - Klobasniky (Pig-in-the-blankets), Sausage-Based Concoctions, Smoked Sausage, Dry Sausage, Fresh Sausage and Everything But the Oink. Start perfecting those recipes so you can get entered!
And don't forget about the other competitions - Celebrity Kolache Eating Contest, Hog-Calling contest, Dance Contest, Sausage-Toss Contest, Kolache Eating Contest, and any others we might decide to throw into the mix!!
Sausagefest is a great event celebrated in downtown Schulenburg. Be sure to mark it on your calendar for 2027 and plan to be a part of it!!
