✨MEET THE TEAM MONDAY✨

This Monday, we’re excited to introduce the heart and leader behind Helping Hands Stay At Home Care — our amazing Founder and Owner, Maggie!

Helping Hands began from a deeply personal place for Maggie. After experiencing firsthand the challenges of caring for her own mother, she saw just how overwhelming it can be for families to balance caregiving, everyday responsibilities, and the desire to make sure a loved one is safe, comfortable, and cared for.

That experience inspired Maggie to create the kind of support she wished had been more accessible during her own family’s journey. From that vision, Helping Hands Stay At Home Care was born.

Today, Maggie leads our team with the same values that inspired her from the beginning: compassion, empathy, integrity, consistency, and a genuine desire to help others. Her hands-on leadership and commitment to personalized, dependable care are at the heart of everything we do.

Getting to Know Maggie ❤

Before founding Helping Hands, Maggie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Education and worked as a teacher. Originally from California, she still loves spending time at the beach whenever she gets the chance. When she isn’t working, you can often find her enjoying a good book or spending time with her husband and their two children.

Maggie is also a lifelong animal lover. Over the years, she has cared for dogs, cats, bunnies, horses, and more. Her naturally kind, caring, and supportive personality extends into both her personal life and the work she does every day.

Maggie isn’t just the owner of Helping Hands — she’s the reason behind our mission and a daily example of what it means to lead with heart.

🌟Fun Fact Friday! 🌟
Did you know that *social connection is just as important to healthy aging as eating well and staying active?* ❤

Research shows that regular conversations, laughter, and meaningful companionship can help reduce feelings of loneliness, improve mood, and even support better overall health.

At Helping Hands, we know caregiving is about so much more than helping with daily tasks. It's about building relationships, sharing smiles, and making every day a little brighter.

Whether it's enjoying a favorite hobby, taking a walk, or simply sitting down for a chat, those little moments can make a big difference.

**Fun Fact Friday!**

Did you know? **Music is one of the last memories affected by dementia.** 🎵

Even when someone struggles to remember names, places, or recent events, hearing a favorite song from their younger years can spark smiles, singing, dancing, and even meaningful conversations. Music has an incredible way of reaching parts of the brain that remain connected long after other memories begin to fade.

🏡 **How can in-home caregiving help?**

A compassionate in-home caregiver can:
❤ Play personalized playlists that bring comfort and joy.
❤ Encourage reminiscing through favorite songs and cherished memories.
❤ Create calming routines that reduce anxiety and promote emotional well-being.
❤ Provide companionship so no one has to face dementia alone.

Sometimes the smallest moments—a familiar melody, a shared laugh, or a gentle conversation—can make the biggest difference.

✨ Every day is an opportunity to create meaningful moments, even when memories fade.

🌟 **Meet the Team Monday!** 🌟

This Monday, we're excited to introduce **Andrea**, our dedicated, Care Coordinator, at Helping Hands! ❤

Andrea plays an essential role in ensuring our clients and caregivers receive the support they need to provide compassionate, high-quality in-home care. She works closely with families to create personalized care plans while empowering our caregivers to deliver the exceptional service Helping Hands is known for.

Andrea's journey in healthcare began as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where she spent two years providing hands-on care. After joining Helping Hands as a caregiver, her passion, leadership, and commitment to others quickly led her into her current role as Care Coordinator. Her firsthand experience gives her a unique understanding of the needs of both clients and caregivers, making her a trusted advocate for everyone she serves.

Born and raised in Mitchell, Andrea is proud to give back to the community she calls home. When she's not at work, you'll likely find her spending time with family and friends, creating art, or staying involved in her community.

Thank you, Andrea, for your compassion, dedication, and the positive impact you make every day. We're grateful to have you on the Helping Hands team! ❤

We're so proud of our incredible caregiving team! ❤️

A big thank you to our in-house CPR trainer, **Miriam**, for leading another successful certification class, and to **Mytzi**, our bilingual scheduler, for translating and helping make the training accessible to our Spanish-speaking caregivers.

Congratulations to all of our caregivers who earned their CPR certification! Your dedication to learning and providing safe, high-quality care means so much to our team and our clients.

🌟 **Meet the Team Monday: Meet Elisha!** 🌟

This Monday, we're excited to introduce **Elisha**, our Hiring Coordinator and Sales Recruiter!

Elisha plays an important role in connecting families with compassionate, personalized in-home care while building a team of exceptional caregivers. With her genuine passion for helping others and her ability to truly listen, she guides families through their care options with compassion, ensuring they feel supported, informed, and confident every step of the way.

Behind the scenes, Elisha also recruits, interviews, and welcomes new caregivers to our team. Her people-first approach and attention to detail help create a positive experience for both our clients and our employees.

A Scottsbluff native, Elisha grew up alongside her five older siblings, where she developed her strong sense of family and community. Before joining our team, she spent five years working in a chiropractic office, where her passion for serving others and building meaningful relationships continued to grow.

When she's not at work, you'll find Elisha spending time with her husband and two children. She enjoys hiking, cheering on her kids at their sporting events, cooking, staying active at the gym, and making lasting memories with her family.

We're grateful to have Elisha on our team. Her kindness, dedication, and heart for serving others make a difference in the lives of our clients, caregivers, and community every day. 💙
