🔥 ROCK THE DOCK 2026 IS COMING ON JULY 25th AND WE CAN'T WAIT TO WELCOME YOU TO GOOSE POND! 🔥

This year's move to Goose Pond Colony has allowed us to create our biggest ROCK THE DOCK yet! From the incredible waterfront concert setting and expanded parking to the VIP experience, food truck village, and beautiful views of Lake Guntersville, everything is set for an unforgettable night!

We've designed the event grounds to give everyone plenty of room to relax, enjoy great music, grab some amazing food, and make memories with friends and family.

After seven years of dedicated service, the Mountain Lakes Chamber of Commerce bids a heartfelt farewell to our Vice President of Workforce Solutions, Nancy Griggs, as she begins a well-earned retirement.

Nancy has been a driving force behind workforce development efforts across Jackson County, building meaningful partnerships between business, industry, education, and community leaders. Her passion for creating opportunities for students and strengthening the local workforce has left a lasting impact on countless individuals, organizations, and our entire region.

Through her leadership, commitment, and unwavering belief in the potential of our community, Nancy has helped connect students to careers, supported employers in meeting workforce needs, and fostered collaborations that will continue to benefit Jackson County for years to come.

While we will certainly miss her daily presence, we are grateful for the legacy she leaves behind and excited for the adventures that await her in this next chapter.

Please join us in thanking Nancy for her years of service and wishing her a happy, healthy, and fulfilling retirement!

Great job, Katie Norton, board member of My Lake Guntersville and the WET Foundation for speaking up about the importance to continue addressing the issue of invasive aquatic weeds in Lake Guntersville and asking for TVA's partnership and assistance in continuing to do so.
Did you know anyone can register to speak at these meetings? 37 individuals spoke at this particular meeting. If you would like to speak at one, watch for the public TVA notice and go online to register! EVERYONE is welcome to sign up to speak. :)
Rick hit the ground running and did not slow down until he made it to Guntersville! Today he spoke at the TVA Board Meeting about the positive impact Google has had on Jackson County and the opportunities it continues to create for our communities. From economic growth to regional partnerships, Jackson County is proud to have a seat at the table and a voice in conversations shaping the future of North Alabama. Great job, Rick, representing Jackson County and the Mountain Lakes Chamber with passion and purpose!
