💻 MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: NBPS VIRTUAL SOLUTIONS 💻

You know that stage of running a business where you’re the CEO, marketing department, project manager, administrative assistant, customer service department AND the person wondering why there are 47 tabs open on your computer?

Yeah. NBPS Virtual Solutions would like a word. 😂

This week’s Member Spotlight features Natasha Bowles-Hamer, founder of NBPS Virtual Solutions!

Since 2016, Natasha and NBPS have been helping entrepreneurs and organizations take what feels chaotic and turn it into clarity, systems and growth.

Their philosophy?

Stop managing chaos. Start building an organization that scales.

And Natasha knows firsthand what it means to build something from the ground up. NBPS began as a one-woman operation while she was raising a family and managing multiple community projects. Today, it has grown into a fully remote operations agency with a powerhouse team supporting clients nationwide — from small-business owners to chambers of commerce and nonprofit leaders.

What keeps her motivated is seeing other people step fully into their purpose and knowing her work helps entrepreneurs build freedom and a legacy for their families.

And for anyone thinking about starting a business, Natasha has some pretty solid advice:

“Start with structure. Passion is powerful, but process sustains you.”

Build systems early. Know your numbers. Keep learning. And surround yourself with people who challenge you to think bigger.

When she isn't helping businesses get their ducks somewhere in the general vicinity of a row 😂, you'll often find Natasha at the lake with her family, volunteering with local rescue organizations, spending time in nature or journaling and planning what's next.

WHO’S READY FOR A RIBBON CUTTING?!?! ✂️🍦💚

The Mountain Lakes Chamber Ribbon Cutting Crew is officially in preparation mode! 😂

✂️ The scissors have been sharpened.
👕 The Standard Scoops T-shirt has been pressed.
💚 Jess is in FULL ribbon-making mode — and YES, the ribbon is GREEN! Because apparently we like to keep things interesting around here. 😂
📸 Martha is cleaning the camera lens because blurry ribbon-cutting pictures are NOT happening on her watch.
🍦 Lydia is ready for a scoop… which, let’s be honest, is probably the most important job of the day. 🤣
🎉 AND this will be Laura’s FIRST ribbon cutting!!! She has absolutely no idea what she’s gotten herself into. 😂

Rick is sadly going to miss this one. 😢 And Rick, we really hate that for you because… ICE CREAM. 🍦🤣

Happy Labor Day, Jackson County!
This weekend, we celebrate the people who get up, show up, build, create, serve, teach, grow, lead, care, and keep our communities moving forward.
From our small businesses and industries to our educators, healthcare workers, first responders, farmers, tradespeople, entrepreneurs—and everyone in between—your hard work helps make Jackson County the place we’re proud to call home.
In observance of Labor Day, the Mountain Lakes Chamber of Commerce will be closed Monday, September 7th. We’ll be back Tuesday, rested, caffeinated, and ready to get back to work. ☕️😉

The Veterans Memorial Park of Jackson County Annual Golf Fundraising Tournament is back — and this year, they’re moving it to October in hopes of trading that Alabama summer heat for a little fall golf weather! 🍂⛳
📅 Friday, October 30th
📍 Plantation Point Golf Course
🏌️ Four-Person Scramble
💲 $100 per player
🍽️ Lunch at 11 a.m.
⛳ Shotgun start at 12 noon
Entry includes range balls, mulligan package, lunch, drinks and prizes — and veterans and active-duty military personnel receive a FREE mulligan package. 🇺🇸
Every dollar raised helps support the operation and maintenance of Veterans Memorial Park of Jackson County, with plans already underway for an exciting new special display in 2027.
