The importance of developing a highly specialized Housing Security Unit to patrol challenged properties is critical to effective policing of these environments.

These Operatives need to be more than boots on the ground. At SPP we find we can broaden our effectiveness by incorporating the following;
• Maintaining effective online Bar / Arrest files that include key information to assist our team and police when offenders re-offend
• Collect critical information for clients to support eviction of offenders who commit criminal or property rules or regulations
• Body Camera and photographic evidence to support reporting
• Establishing excellent relationships with local, state and federal police or emergency services to ensure effective service by these agencies to our clients
• Effective reporting to support our clients operations including documentation of maintenance issues, fire or health hazards
• Assertive approach to curb transient and undesirables including criminal trespass prosecutions
• Vacant Suite sweeps and criminal prosecution of squatters

Like any other specialization the key is consistency and ensuring cooperation of your client and public partners.
