What do you know about the process of converting woody biomass to Sustainable Aviation Fuel? Woody biomass is organic debris from trees and plants that NWABF uses as an energy source. Simply stated, NWABF takes leftover wood scraps, sawdust, and forest debris which goes through a thermochemical process and all forms of energy are collected to create syngas. Sustainable Aviation Fuel is an alternative to fossil fuel and can reduce emissions by up to 80 percent during its full lifecycle. Examples include bio-fuels and synthetic fuels. NWABF, is excited for sustainable aviation fuel in the coming years.
