“TRUTH” It can make us or break us! What do I mean? Our actions emanate from our beliefs; our beliefs come from our thoughts. Are our thoughts based on truth or lies? If they are based on lies or vain imagination can you imagine how our actions will hurt others and us?

Jesus said, “The truth will set you free.” Don’t believe the statements, “You are a loser, worthless, good for nothing, a failure, no one loves you.” We often base our belief on feelings. Stop that NOW! Live based on the truth of God’s Word and be freed to experience Christ’s peace. The source of all truth is God alone.

“BEWARE” Most of us are pretty good at pointing out what others are doing wrong or sinful. We tend to look down on them, criticize them, and condemn them. What we should do is to come alongside them and with gentleness and love help restore them. The worst thing to do is talk behind their backs, shame them or put them down in any way that makes us look so much better.

If we were to look into our spiritual mirror, what would we see? I would see a defective, flawed, and imperfect individual that is no better than anyone else. Just as Jesus died for all my sins, He died for everyone’s as well. I must see the best in others just like Christ sees the best in me.

“EXPIRATION DATE” Most perishable products we buy have a notice ‘good until _____’ or ‘best if used by _____.’ What about us? Yes, each of our lives has an expiry date; it's a reality we cannot escape! What is that date?

Since we don’t know when we will expire we should enjoy each day keeping eternity in mind. The Bible reminds us that: "Each person is destined to (expire) die once and after that comes judgment." I like what someone said, “Aspire to INSPIRE before you Expire.”
