My name is Ricky Keller, and I am the Owner/Director of Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care of Scottsdale, Arizona. I always say that is where I got my manners and southern charm. My loving mother was a nurse for 35 years which consisted of my childhood and most of my adult life. I would always love to go visit her at her job which would be in nursing home communities. Mom always had a passion to help others and she focused on the seniors/elders to fulfill her calling. I always felt the love, compassion, comforting and care she would give every single person she cared for and not only in her job but in her everyday life. I feel that my mother being such an amazing nurse, role model and person is what gave me my passion, love, dedication, drive, and ambition to help others and give back to the community in a way that is meaningful to me. I completed a lot of research on different types of businesses to help people and I came across Non-Medical In-Home Care. After learning more about everything a Non-Medical In-Home Care business can provide to people, I was sure this is my calling and what I want to do with the rest of my life. Being able to help seniors age in place, children with special needs, expecting mothers with postnatal care, personal injury care, recovery care and even pet care was what pulled me to Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care. I can assist people that may have all different kinds of needs and I am glad I can be a part of that and make a difference in their lives.
