We are honored to welcome FOX 10’s Justin Lum - Investigative Reporter as a guest speaker at our Wings of Hope event!

Justin is widely recognized for his investigative reporting on the Lori Vallow/Chad Daybell case, which became national news following several of his exclusive reports. From the earliest days of that investigation, Justin worked relentlessly to uncover each layer until the tragic discovery was made months later. His dedication and excellence in coverage earned him a regional Emmy in 2021 for Continuing Coverage.

Beyond high-profile cases, Justin helped launch the FOX 10 Investigates: Missing in Arizona series, bringing critical attention to missing persons across the state—particularly people of color who are too often overlooked by national media. His passion lies in helping families search for answers and making sure their stories are told.

At Wings of Hope, Justin will share his expertise on how families and advocates can effectively engage the media in missing person cases.

Whispers in the Wind: Creating Personal Prayer Flags for Healing

Step into a reflective and creative space as we design personal prayer flags—small works of art carrying intention, remembrance, and hope. Drawing inspiration from the tradition of Tibetan prayer flags, participants will create flags using fabric, collage, paint, and writing.

Whether you are honoring a loved one, reflecting on your own resilience, or giving shape to emotions that words cannot hold, this workshop offers a meaningful opportunity for quiet creativity, healing, and connection.
No art experience is needed—all supplies and gentle guidance will be provided.

About the Facilitator:
Rachel Barlow is an expressive arts therapist who believes deeply in the healing power of creativity. Her personal journey through grief, following the loss of her father to su***de, informs her compassionate approach. Through mixed media and mindful art-making, Rachel helps individuals discover resilience, beauty, and new perspectives.

During the exhibition, Unspoken, Survivors Stories, we will be hosting Saturday workshops that are free and open to the public. Space is limited, so please register in advance.
