Nice easy Saturday and still early enough for my decaf……and got the upgrade!! Odds were good. lol. In-office session 3 for Kim Trieu and her team on Monday and Jen Pichler and Jen Ward and their team on Tuesday. Tomorrow I get to spend the day hiking….yes, a bit drizzly, of course, in the North Cascades with Glen Joyce!!!! Dinner with him tonight too!!!!! Talk about combining all of my passions and best friend in one trip!!!

That’s what I’m taking about: last-minute upgrade makes my coffee taste even better on my way to in-office session #3 with Gabriel A Nossa and his amazing team. Supporting them by creating team-centered systems designed to help their patients move towards optimal health is why I get out of bed professionally every day.

I had the honor of staying an extra day to watch one of my best friends, Steve Steve Gold and his amazing wife, Brandy Gold give a presentation that I hope nobody else ever has to give, “Dance for Emily: Awareness and Prevention of Ma*****na Psychosis,” sharing their experience, excruciating pain, and new knowledge for the dental profession, surrounding the loss of their daughte and her story. I don’t know how they did it. It was amazing. I love you both so much and miss Emily so much. Thank you for being so brave and so vulnerable and helping our profession at the same time.

California Dental Association (CDA) put on an amazing meeting with amazing support and organization. My hands-on workshop on Thursday, supported by Panadent (in-person support by Robert Sarabia!!), Kettenbach (Quick-Splints and putty)Dental Crafters Lab (supplied all models, waxers, and more!!!), was perfect, sold out, and super fun. Both of my presentations on Friday were sold-out with amazing energy and engagement. It really was an honor. Thanks you, CDA!!

Starting off with a last-minute upgrade!!! Super excited for the next two days at the Texas Dental Association annual meeting . Treatment planning, occlusion and integration is what I have the pleasure of sharing with the dental community. Yep, a little too late for coffee….even my usual decaf!

I could smell the upgrade…..but only for a fleeting moment. Still excited and grateful to be headed back to The Pankey Institute to support another Essentials 4 class and faculty, including Daniel Balaze, Katherine Eslao, Steve Hart, and Todd Davis.

A good Monday morning to travel. Is it just me or is there a pattern of missing the upgrade by 1 person every flight? lol…..but not really laughing so hard. Either way, I’m ready for in-person session 2 with Kathryn Connor and her team tomorrow, while prepping for the leadership workshop in Breckenridge this summer that is sold out!!!!
