The Arizona Black Chamber of Commerce Gala was exceptional! Congratulations to CEO Dr. Velma Trayham, 2025 Positively Powerful Visionary Leadership Honoree, her Board of Directors, the Award Recipients, and the entire production team. As the Founder and Executive Producer of 16 years of Education Summit and Woman Awards Conferences, I know greatness when I see and experience it. I’m delighted to be a member of the AZ Black Chamber.

There are so many people that this applies to, not just of my ancestry but others, the indigenous people, the people of diverse cultures who built this country. Look and relate to it from your cultural reference as I do. Let us stay strong and resilient.

Bob and I have been home from a fantastic anniversary trip to our hometown, New York City, for a few weeks. Since then, there've been events and lots of self-care for me to get over a bug.

We wanted to make sure we saw the culturally significant, relevant, and historic "Superfine-Tailoring Black Fashion" at the Met. Their collection of Black Men's fashion was a must-see for us.

A must-do was celebrating our Anniversary, so too was taking care of business by visiting three museums, and seeing friends. We walked the city and ate great. Tao restaurant - awesome! Their Peking Duck brought back memories for me. Enjoy the photos, and if you ❤️New York like we do, share your favorite NYC story.

Exciting news for all fans and followers of Felicia Renea Davis, Queen Fee.

While sitting next to Felicia at the Take The Lead Conference in DC, I followed up on my invitation to her to join the Board of Directors of the Positively Powerful Development Corp. (PPDC) 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. She was busy assuring the success of the conference with Gloria Feldt and didn't respond, but I knew she was a woman of her word, and I would have another opportunity to ask her this question.

Felicia has been a tremendous support to my programs as a speaker, marketing expert, role model, and now the Creator of the Voice Sovereignty Methodology. She was a speaker at the PPW Women's Retreat and will be speaking at her second Positively Powerful Education Summit and Woman Awards Conference on September 26.

With the TTL Power Up Courage to Lead Concert & Conference complete, I asked her again, and I am delighted that Felicia said "yes!" During this year's Conference, Felicia will also be receiving the Founders Award for her exemplary work and community leadership.

We begin acknowledging the accomplishments of women on September 25 at the Surprises, Prizes, and Acknowledgment Pre-Conference (SPA Night) event from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. The next day, September 26, from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, the Positively Powerful Conference will be held and hosted by PPDC.
