Introducing our new Senior Intern:
Matthew Reyes chose an internship at the Scranton Launch box because his dream is to own his own business. He is the new Senior Intern at the Scranton Launch box. Matthew is a fourth-year Corporate Communications major at Penn State Scranton. The knowledge and resources the LaunchBox provides to entrepreneurs allows him to gain applicable business information while interacting with early stage business owners.
Matthew is 21 years-old and is heavily involved in Penn State Scranton’s THON organization. He is this year's Primary Chair for THON and last year's Events Captain. Matthew also was a part of Penn State Scranton's Alternative Spring Break Program where he provided relief to the local community affected by natural disasters. He has leadership experience from many clubs and roles on campus as well as completing a leadership training course at Penn State Scranton. From his internship at the Launch box, Matthew hopes to gain the necessary skills and perception of what it takes to start a business while helping others succeed. This experience is helping to bring him closer to his dream of being an entrepreneur. LaunchBox consultants encourage all aspiring entrepreneurs, “Don’t Quit Your Daydream!”
