As part of a complete renovation of this century-old farmhouse in the Poconos, we introduced a new covered entry porch to give the home a more defined sense of arrival. Beyond providing shelter from the elements, the porch establishes a clear point of entry, adds depth and dimension to the exterior, and helps modernize the farmhouse aesthetic for the next 100 years.

Framing is well underway on this new custom designed home in the Poconos, set on private acreage overlooking the family’s own lake.

Designed as a second home for a young family from the city, it will give them a place to spend their summers with more space, privacy, and a strong connection to the outdoors.

We weren’t hired to create this rendering.

We created it because we believe every city has buildings waiting for someone to recognize their next chapter.

This old freight house has sat quietly in Scranton for years. Rather than seeing what it is, we wanted to explore what it could become.

We imagined Railroad Market—a year-round destination for local farmers, makers, bakers, cheesemakers, wineries, and neighbors. A place that celebrates local entrepreneurship while giving new life to one of Scranton’s great industrial buildings.

Sometimes architecture isn’t about solving a client’s problem. Sometimes it’s about starting a community conversation.

Potential is everywhere. Sometimes it just needs to be illustrated.

What would you love to see this building become??

Here are some progress photos of a new home taking shape I. The Abingtons!

Designed for a narrow lakeside site, this home pairs a simple gabled form with natural materials and thoughtfully composed windows that capture views of the lake while filling the interior with natural light. The design balances contemporary detailing with the comfort and character that make lakeside homes so memorable.

Whether it’s a new home, an addition, or breathing new life into an existing property, we enjoy helping clients create places that feel uniquely their own.

We’re excited to share this lakefront design, which is underway in Wayne County. The client embraced a bold use of color, allowing the architecture to feel playful, modern, and expressive against the natural backdrop. The composition breaks down the scale of the home into a series of connected forms that step with the site, creating a strong relationship between the architecture, the landscape, and the water’s edge.

Sculpted archways, warm lighting, natural textures, and subtle floral tones shape the atmosphere throughout L’Abri Salon Suites. The design leans into a calm, elevated vibe with layered details intended to make the interiors feel warm, inviting, and memorable without feeling overdone.

Summer is almost here, and this new boathouse is nearly ready for long weekends at the lake.

The low sloped roof extends out over the dock to create shade and cover at the water’s edge, making the space comfortable throughout the day while keeping the views open to the lake. Simple materials and clean lines keep the focus on the setting and the experience of being there.

A place designed for slow mornings, boat rides, and staying outside a little longer.
