2025 Calves are all weaned, double vaccinated and wormed. AHIR data turned in.
This is no doubt our best calf crop in almost 40 years of breeding registered Angus cattle. I new these calves were good, didn't think they were this good.

Average adjusted 205 day wt. 734lbs. (Bulls & heifers)
Top 205 wt. 840lbs a Bold Ruler bull out of a Surpass heifer.

Remember these calves sell November 7th at our 9th annual production sale at the farm.

The newest member of the Craven Angus Farm arsenal.
This is the heifer we picked out at the NC Spring Fever Sale.
Bred to Connealy Cornhusker for a September baby.
I was asked why we choose her.
Several factors which go into our decision making.
1. Phenotype 113M is the type we like. Long, deep bodied, attractive, feminine looking female.
2. Above average foot scores, hair shed and a +30 docility
3. Almost a +100 ww epd with $W in the top 1%
4. Moderate birth and adequate milk.
5. Probably most important she comes from a trusted farm that has been breeding cattle a long time.
113M is the 18th generation to carry the WHS prefix, dating back to 1969.
We look forward to her future here at CAF.

I'd say it's about time to wean this fellow. He is a Basin Jameson son nursing his 3 yr old Exponential dam. Look for him this fall at our 9th annual sale.

Craven-Price Sarah 2522
This is the most complete female we have ever bred.
DOB: 9/28/2025
Sired by Connealy Commerce and out of a first calf Connealy Craftsmen heifer tracing back to Yon Sarah Y79.
She is thick topped, deep bodied, excellent docility and has that brood cow look.
Look for her this fall at our 9th annual sale in November. She will surely be a sale attraction.
