I’m not interested in teaching you everything AI can do.

In Too Busy to Learn AI, we’re focusing on three things:

1. CEO CLARITY
Use AI as a thinking partner to sort through everything competing for your attention, identify what actually matters and make better decisions faster.

2. A MORE PRODUCTIVE TEAM
Turn meetings, conversations and ideas into clear decisions, owners, deadlines and next steps so less comes back to you.

3. CEO-LEVEL SUPPORT
Give AI the right context about your business so it can help you analyze data, work through real problems, pressure-test ideas and get to better answers.

Leave two hours later knowing how to make AI work inside the business you already have.

CEO capacity has a real-life cost.

I remember one night sitting on the couch with my laptop open when my 14 year old Luke asked me to come out to the whirlpool bath with him.

“Let me just finish this up really quick.”

Whatever insignificant project I was working on consumed me long enough that he eventually went out without me. By the time he got out, I was still sitting in the same spot, laptop open.

I remember feeling this wall of regret and, honestly, FOMO.

But I cleverly justified it the way so many of us do. I had to get it done. It couldn’t wait until tomorrow. People were counting on me.

The truth is that while it felt like just another night in the whirlpool bath, one of the most important people in my life had been counting on me too.

I don’t remember what I was working on that night. But I remember missing the whirlpool bath.

That seemingly insignificant moment has become part of the fuel behind so much of what we do at KLC and why I believe there has to be a different way to build a female founder-led business.

It’s also why I’m so interested in doing AI right.

My goal isn’t to help women fit even more work into an already full day, it is to build a business that require less of us in the places it never should have required us in the first place.

Because CEO capacity isn’t just a productivity problem. There is a real-life cost to spending our time on work that could have been handled differently.

And sometimes, that cost looks like a kid getting out of the whirlpool bath while you’re still sitting on the couch with your laptop open.

I want AI to help us get more of those moments back.

Last year I challenged my team to get really good at AI.

So we did. And we focused on three primary drivers:

1. DATA

Where does our data live?
We started creating one source of truth for the information across our company so we could stop searching for answers (or trying to pull them from employee brains) and actually use our data to make better decisions.

2. WORKFLOWS

How does work actually move through our company?
We started using AI to help manage workflows so SOPs were followed, ownership was clear, and everyone knew what they were responsible for without someone constantly having to manage the process.

3. CEO-LEVEL SUPPORT

How could AI help me be a better CEO?
This is probably the part I underestimated the most.

Once AI had access to the right context, data and information about our business, I could use it to help me think through decisions, identify priorities, see patterns I might have missed, and get better answers faster.

Over the past six months, I’ve watched the way my entire team moves change. Our productivity has more than quadrupled, and I now have a dashboard that shows me exactly how we’re performing and where our time is going.

And that’s exactly what we’re teaching inside Too Busy to Learn AI on September 16.

How to organize the information AI needs, build smarter workflows, and turn AI into real CEO-level support for you and your team.

One of the things I think we underestimate as founders is the actual value of our time. You can build a $2M business and still accidentally be doing a $200K employee’s job.

If I spend an hour doing something I could pay someone $30 an hour to do, I didn’t just save the business $30. I used an hour of CEO capacity to save $30.

That’s a very different calculation.

There are things only I can do in my business. I can make the decisions that determine where we’re going, build relationships that create opportunities, develop the ideas, offers and strategy that could materially change our growth.

Or I can approve the PTO request.

And listen, I still catch myself doing plenty of things that probably don’t require me (like writing this caption lol) … I think most of us do.

But at some point, being a good steward of the business means understanding what your time is worth and being willing to pay someone else to protect it.

I’m obsessed with helping you build these frameworks to step into your zone of genius and build scalable traction as a female founder.

Stick around!

I’m hoping to have WiFi still but if I don’t post by 10 yes. The Ai one will be the swipe with this caption:

AI has become one more thing successful business owners feel like they’re behind on.

And I have zero interest in adding another thing to your list.

What I’ve become obsessed with is figuring out how to use AI to make the job of running a business easier. Not just writing captions faster, but thinking through problems, making better decisions, getting more out of your team, finding information faster and taking some of the work that never should have required you in the first place off your plate.

That’s what we have been experimenting with inside KLC, and it’s what we’re teaching in Too Busy to Learn AI.

You don’t need to become an AI expert. You need to understand it well enough to know where it can actually make you a better CEO.

And preferably give you a little bit of your life back in the process.

High-growth founders carry more imposter syndrome than most people because we’re constantly attempting things we’ve never done before.

We hit a milestone and immediately move the goalpost. Bigger business. Bigger team. Bigger opportunity. Bigger version of ourselves required to lead it. Which also means we fail more than most people can imagine because most people never attempt the thing that could fail in the first place.

So if you’re sitting with an actual failure right now, congrats. You’re already ahead of everyone still standing on the sidelines.
But failing forward isn’t just getting back up. The failure only becomes valuable when we extract the lesson. What did this expose? What do I know now? What will I do differently next time?

Imposter syndrome isn’t always a sign we’re unqualified. Sometimes it’s the natural result of continuously becoming someone we haven’t been before.

Congrats on the failure. Now make sure it was worth it.

One of the exhausting parts of being a CEO is feeling like you’re never quite caught up. There’s always another platform, strategy or skill everyone seems to know about before you do.

For me, AI was just another thing on that list.

I have a business to run. A team to lead, clients to serve, a family and a life I actually want to be present for. I did not want a new hobby called “learning AI.”

Then I realized I was approaching it wrong.

I didn’t need to become good at AI. I needed to get good enough that my team could run with it.

And once we understood a few basic principles, the thing I thought would add more to my plate started taking things off of it.

That’s why we created Too Busy to Learn AI.

Two hours. The basics that actually matter. How we’re actually using it in our business. And enough understanding to get your team running with it too.

AI is here to stay. You don’t need to keep up with all of it. You just need a good place to start.

Traditional business models, even when done well, are antiquated.

They were largely built around one measure of success: more. More revenue. More growth. More customers. More employees. Bigger goals.

And I love growth. I love making money. I love building an exceptional company.

But I’m no longer interested in building a business that grows at the expense of everything else that matters to me.
The new girl math is a life-first business.

A business that doesn’t just produce revenue, but pours generously back into the life of the woman building it.
More energy and capacity for my health.

More resources and experiences for the people I love: wealth.

More ability to contribute, teach and change lives: impact.

And more choice over where I go, what I do, who I do it with and how I spend my time: freedom.

I don’t believe the ultimate flex is building the biggest business possible.

It’s building a business powerful enough to make your whole life bigger.

That’s the math I care about now.
