Yarnell's Ice Cream is owned and operated by Schulze and Burch, which purchased Yarnell's in a bankruptcy sale on Nov. 30, 2011. The 80-year-old company headquartered in Chicago also has a production facility in Searcy, Ark. Schulze and Burch is the leading manufacturer of store brand toaster

pastries in the world. With more than 1 million square feet of manufacturing, S&B produces wholesome snacks and other grain-based products for many of the Fortune 100 consumer products companies. Recognizing the importance of the Yarnell’s brand to Arkansans, S&B purchased the company in order to relaunch the top-selling Yarnell's brands using the same original formulas and beloved recipes.
