The biggest issues in Amazon accounts usually aren’t obvious.

On the surface, everything can look healthy: ACOS is within target, campaigns are running, and sales are coming in.
But once we audit the account, the picture often looks very different.

We regularly find:
• Significant spend on non-converting search terms
• TACoS is much higher than expected
• Top-performing ASINs are missing important keyword indexing

These issues don’t always show up in standard reporting, and that’s what makes them expensive.

Open your ad console. In 10 minutes, you can find at least one of these three leaks. 👇

One: auto campaigns running wide open with no negative harvesting. Two: broad match keywords and a search term report you’ve never pulled. Three: branded keywords in broad match, bidding against the organic rank you already own.

None of these flag themselves. Your ACOS looks fine while the money leaves.

📌 Save this and run it today. DM “AUDIT” for the full structural

A number most brand owners have never run for their own account:

Take your best ASIN. Monthly revenue × 5% × 12. That’s the annual value of one controlled test that works. Not a launch. Not a new SKU. One test on one element.

The uncomfortable part: most listings have three, four, five elements that have never been touched, not because the brand doesn’t care, but because nobody flagged them. They looked ‘fine.’

“Fine” is the most expensive word in ecommerce. 📌 Save and go do the math on your top seller.

We’ve spent June making the case for auditing your account. Let’s close the loop on what booking one actually looks like because “I don’t know what I’m signing up for” is the last real objection.

Step one: a 30-minute strategy call. We look at your account live, not a questionnaire. You’ll see us pull the numbers in real time.
Step two: within 48 hours, a structural read. Not vibes specifics.

Where the waste is, what it’s costing you in dollars, and which problems are structural versus cosmetic.

Step three: a prioritized recovery plan. First lever first: the single highest-leverage move, not a wall of 40 to-dos you’ll never start. Something you can act on the Monday after.

What you won’t get: a 40-page PDF designed to look thorough, or a strategy call that’s secretly a sales pitch. The plan is the product.
That’s it. Three steps, no mystery, no risk. Book your strategy call using the link below, and we’ll show you exactly where your account stands. → https://calendly.com/amz-audits/free-listing-audit?month=2026-03

The most common reason brands hesitate on an audit: “We already have an agency.”

Here’s the reframe. An audit was never meant to replace your agency. It’s the one thing your agency structurally can’t provide, an independent read.

Think about the setup. The team running your account is the same team that would have to discover its own blind spots. Not because they’re careless, because nobody audits their own work as ruthlessly as an outside party does. That’s true of every profession.

Your agency optimizes inside the structure. An audit pressure-tests the structure itself. Different jobs.

And a good agency has nothing to fear from it. A search term review, a TACoS-vs-target read, a structure check, if the account is clean, the audit confirms it and your agency looks great. If it’s not, you just found money. There’s no version of this where you lose.

The brands that get the most from an audit usually already have an agency, because they’re spending enough that a structural leak is a serious number. Keep your team.

Add a second opinion. DM “SECOND LOOK.“

There’s a reason most Amazon “audits” leave brands exactly where they started.

They deliver a document. A tidy PDF with red flags, a few charts, and a list of things that are wrong. The brand reads it, nods, files it, and changes nothing, because a list of problems is not the same as fixing them.

A diagnosis you don’t act on is just an expensive confirmation that you have a problem.

Our position is simple: the audit isn’t the deliverable. The recovered margin is. We find the structural waste, the unharvested auto campaigns, the branded cannibalization, the unindexed listings, and then we rebuild the structure so the money stops leaving.

The report is a byproduct. The result is the point.

If you’ve already paid for an audit that turned into a PDF and a shrug, you didn’t get an audit. You got a summary. Comment “AUDIT” and we’ll show you the difference.

Most sellers don’t have a performance problem. They have a measurement problem.
Seller Central is built to make you feel okay. The dashboard glows green while money walks out the door.
Four numbers do the lying:
→ ACOS that ignores your zero-sale spend

→ ROAS that “improved” because you killed discovery

→ Flat sales hiding a rising cost to hold rank

→ “Profitable” with no TACoS behind it
None trip a red flag. That’s why they’re expensive.
Swipe for all four. Then go pull your TACoS, if you can’t say it off the top of your head, that’s your answer.
Comment “TRUTH” and we’ll tell you which one your account is hiding.

We had a call this week with a brand doing $8M a year on Amazon.

First question out of the gate: "What's our ideal TACoS?"
Our answer: "There isn't one."
Uncomfortable silence.

Everyone wants a benchmark. Everyone wants a magic number.
But growth stages require different economics.

A mature brand protecting its margin shouldn't operate like a challenger brand buying market share.

One might thrive at 8%. The other might intentionally run at 18%.
Same metric. Completely different strategy.
The obsession with benchmarks is pushing brands to optimize for averages rather than opportunities.

The best operators don't ask "What's normal?"
They ask, "What outcome are we trying to create?"👈

Top of the search isn't the best Amazon placement. It's just the best placement for the right brand.

Here's what most PPC dashboards will never tell you: placement performance is downstream of your brand's position in the category. Category leaders harvest demand.

Challenger brands steal it. Same ad, two completely different jobs.
Swipe through to see the playbook, and the 38x CTR delta that proves it. 📌
