TODAY: 1-3PM!
Come tour a slice of Seattle History Today and Sunday. The O.D. Fisher Mansion was built in 1909 by the Beezer Brothers (renowned architects who also built O’Dea H.S. + two churches)--- this was their best known residence. The original owner, Oliver Fisher was one of Seattle’s major industrial leaders for almost 60 years & good friend of J.C. Penny. He owned Fisher Flouring Mills, KOMO-TV, Fisher Communications & more. Only two previous owners of this home and last on market in 1967. Original chandeliers by Quetzal Art glass. Built with stunning wood from Fisher Family Lumber Mills. Home has been featured in many publications like ‘Seattle Times’, on the cover of ‘Classic Houses of Seattle’, ‘A Guide to Architecture in Washington State’, and the detached 3-car garage with Carriage house above even appeared in the Jaguar car catalog. In the Harvard-Belmont Historic District on the western slope of North Capitol Hill.
