So, this guy, Ayron Jones , who sat in my parents living room in Seattle just a few years ago giving my dad a guitar lesson, is now opening for the Rolling Stones tonight in Detroit. How insanely awesome is that?! But, honestly, I can't say I'm surprised. Sooooooo, good!

Today marks the end of my 90-day tour and the beginning of this new chapter of my life. Tonight I open for a feat that for someone like me and where I came from should be impossible. But here I am, sitting in this window over looking downtown Detroit, thinking of the parents who never got see what became of their little boy.

This one is for every single kid who was dealt a bad hand in life. I play for you.

This one is for my family who counts the long days and lonely nights before I come home.

This one is for the City of Seattle the source of my pride and musical pulse that runs through my veins.

This one is for the my auntie for being the mother I never had and For teaching me how to be man.

Most of all this one is for me… For I no longer fantasize about the stories my parents would to me about who I am or where I came from. I now tell my own story and know exactly who I am.

I am Ayron Jones, The dreamer, The lover….
The Rockstar.
