Behind the scenes at our Wedgewood Primary Suite Dormer Addition! 👀 What was once a cramped upper floor is quickly taking shape into a proper primary suite, complete with framed closets, a bathroom, and the head height this space desperately needed.

Meet the newest addition to our portfolio: the Morningside Whole House Remodel & Addition! This 675 sq ft Cape Cod had all the charm, but none of the space a growing family needed. We added 1,200 square feet across two floors, bringing in a drive-through garage with a covered patio, a stunning great room, a curved fluted wood peninsula kitchen, and a vaulted primary suite with treetop views. Every detail was designed to grow with this family and to honor the beautiful wooded setting it calls home!

Behind the scenes at our Ravenna Front Porch project! 👀 What looked like a simple curb appeal refresh turned out to be so much more. The porch framing had sunk nearly 2" due to improper support and the front door sill and jamb had rotted from a bad installation. Plus, the railings needed a full update to meet current code.

We reconfigured the entire layout to make use of every inch, replaced failing windows and doors with high-performance alternatives, and added skylights to flood the space with natural light—perfect for this family's thriving indoor plant collection! The result is a bright, efficient kitchen that finally matches the scale of the room.

Recently, several CRD team members and owner Teri spent the day volunteering with Sound Foundations NW, an all-volunteer organization that builds transitional tiny homes as an alternative to tents and encampments for people experiencing homelessness. Our team learned about the community Sound Foundations serves and got hands-on all day building a tiny home that will give someone a roof over their head, a lock on their door, and a stepping stone toward permanent housing.
