Little Scholars International Preschool is a place where children learn Mandarin naturally in a loving, safe, healthy, and fun environment. Our program provides a learning environment in which children become independent, joyful, respectful learners. We embrace the idea that children learn best through play and hands on activities and offer age appropriate educational experiences for them to achie

ve optimal growth. At Little Scholars, we respect that every child is different; we nurture, educate and celebrate each child's culture, belief system and values. Little Scholars is an immersion-based program for children from birth to 6 years old. We have found the most effective way to teach Mandarin as a world language is for our teachers and caregivers to use it exclusively throughout day...Our goal is simple: create an environment in which Mandarin is fun to learn as well as encourage children to continue learning it as a lifelong pursuit. Since the Little Scholars program is home based, children are in a comfortable and safe environment. We provide healthy, organic meals and snacks for children ages 2 and beyond. The small size (1:6) of the school provides intensive individualized attention and instruction.

About the Owner: My name is Kelley Zhang, I came to the US from China in 2005, In my new home here in American, I've been blessed with two amazing kids, Rachael and Ethan. Rachael is nine and Ethan is four. Most of my working years have been spend teaching and assisting young children. This experience has included: 5 years at a preschool as a teacher and assistant, teaching weekend Mandarin classes to children 3 years old to school age, scheduling summer program/activities for 6 to 12 years old. and running a family home preschool. Teaching children always brings joy and satisfaction to the child and myself. My lesson always comes with smiles and laughs. It's extra gratifying watching how proud a toddler becomes, as they display to you what they just learned! In my spare time, I enjoy Yoga and the outdoors. Time with family and friends is important to me, and I especially enjoy vacationing in California or China!
